The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
I have family visiting town, and they'd like to visit NYC tomorrow. The wife and I have only gone on the weekends, so parking isn't something we have to worry about.
Seeing as its Monday tomorrow, I'm curious what a good plan is for parking? How is parking at the Brewster/Southeast stations, either city owned or private?
If that doesn't work, any suggestions on where we should park if we drive down significantly closer to NYC and take the subway?
I don't have experience with Brewster/southeast, as I take the Beacon train in to the city every day, but if it's anything like Beacon, it will all depend on the time of day you go in.
For example, I usually get to my station at around 7:30am, and there is plenty of parking left (though, more than halfway full). When I get there at 9:30am, there are 20ish spots left, and by 12 it's full. After 2 or 3 though, spaces tend to open up.
If you want to spend the day in the city, and show every one around, I suggest you take an early train to make sure you have a spot.
