I'm most impressed he didn't yoink that assassination.
I didn't yoink it because It was zeek's kill. I think that's the charm right there. Casually sitting back for a second or two just watching and being entertained by it.
My brother gets mad because I yoink his assassinations all the time on accident. Either I throw a grenade or shoot on reflex and end up yoinking right as he goes into the animation. Had a game the other day when I made it up to him. I pushed people back into him, split sides and drew their back to him, and even drew them off him in armor lock so he could pop and get it.
He had 5-6 assassinations in one game. He was ecstatic.
My only complaint about teammates yoinking my kills is: Don't you have something better to do?
There's nothing more frustrating than a teammate going out of their way to steal your kill, only to subsequently get killed by someone they could have been paying attention to, or stopping the person who's trying to stop me from killing their teammate.
I think yoinks are pretty cool if it was a team effort, though.
Time for me to go make my opinion on Team Objectives with DMR starts via bungie.net
I really try not to yoink people, but in the middle of a clusterfuck I just kill anything that lights up my reticule with that red color.
My favorite thing to do is hump the guy being assassinated in a takedown if my teammate got one of the long animations if I haven't accidentally yoinked them before the animation is completed. Double insult!

Yoinks also free an assassin from an assassination and allow him a second or two to face another threat, though.

If someone yoinks my assassination in matchmaking, I will hunt them down till I betray them at least once. It's like you're about to enjoy a cold refreshing drink on a hot summer day when, someone who you thought to be your friend comes by and slaps the drink out of your hand and onto the ground.

That might be a bit much, as accidental yoinks happen all the time.
The only time I turn vengeful is when someone betrays me for my power-weapon. At that point, it's no longer about winning, but making the douche have the least amount of fun possible.
There's also the fact that sometimes you get a session where the game shovels checkpoints on you, and sometimes it's like YOU GOTTA EARN IT.
Or you could be like me when I was doing my final campaign run in Halo 2 on stream and the game decided that I wasn't going to be getting any checkpoints on The Oracle.
I don't have the freedom to hunt down someone who yoinks an assassination and betray them. I still suffer from people killing themselves on my ammunition, and I STILL get kicked at one betrayal.
I actively avoid other team members these days to cut down on potential betrayals. It is maddening. I'm too picky about my teamates to ever get in a party of more than four, so it's rare I don't have to suffer this.
What I can't stand is the people who can betray THREE times before they get kicked, or even get away with three betrayals. I have never gotten away with more than one, because I have been kicked at two every time it wasn't on someone I'm playing with.
Which is rare, because the people I play with aren't stupid.
It wouldn't upset me as much as it does, despite all of the above, if it weren't for the bad drivers. I can't remember the last time I played a big team map with vehicles when I did not get ran over or into by a team member. You have a combined forty yards of clearance on either side and you have to run me over? Not like I stepped into your path moron.
Team Objective under 100 players for the first time at this hour. How's that DMR start change working out for ya, TO? Less players? Aw. At least you can get only Obje-oh, they put Flag Slayer in you? How's that working ou-not good? Well, I'll see you next time, TO.
Action Sack is Team Objective if it was successful
nocren we could make a late night group. let me know.
The problem is that I don't get home till 11:30-midnight most nights (Pacific Time zone). If that's not a problem for you, I think we might be on to something.
So me and my brother tackled the invasion playlist trying to get me one of the last achievements for Reach... yeah it's a bitch. Planting the bomb on map x? No problem, except it requires getting an invasion with DLC. *sigh*
On the plus side, it's been a while since we had done invasion. Two people can really shine on either side of an invasion game, and invasion slayer is a decent mix up on the usual slayer game types. The ease at which you can get a sniper, and how much easier it is to catch people in the open can be a bit silly though.
I was getting really tired of spire and boneyard though. They really should make some of the dlc required for more playtypes, because I am SICK of having to go into an entirely different playlist to ever see these maps.

Bungie shat up Team Objective in Halo 3 for their last Halo 3 update too.
Except this time, we truly now don't have a 100% Objective playlist anywhere in Reach.
Unless you consider Invasion objective, then I guess Premium Battle counts, but they shit that up with 100% DMR starts now too.
Good.

"it's your kill, savor it!"
Hey! I was doing it before it was cool.

Pokemon Safari - Sneasel, Pawniard, ????
My connection's not incredibly reliable but I'd be totally game, even though I already have it.
I am counting down the days until I can get back online.
I miss playing with you guys, oh so much
Letting you guys know theres a checkpoint and ignoring it? I hate you for ignoring it. Never doing another laso run... ever.
Thanks for the help though (and Primus and JP). That's Weekly #44 in a row complete.
As opposed to the most of the level.

Checkpoints aren't entirely hard-coded in. They're almost entirely dynamic, based on what people are doing and their status at the time.

But. it's done and I don't care anymore.
