I'm really rooting for Sen, but I think he's doomed. A lot of great toss players left out there and that's his weakest matchup. Good showings from Naniwa, White-Ra, Sase, MC, and even Socke thus far. Great toss play at this tournament, really a product of having more of the great players in attendance compared to MLG.
MorroW underperformed, sadly. I didn't see DIMAGA's games, so I'm not sure what happened there. Apart from those two, I don't think any of the other Zerg drop-outs are surprising (some might say HayprO, but honestly I've never been impressed by him).
I think the most surprising thing is how badly Terrans have done. I wouldn't have been shocked at all if Strelok, Kas, Thorzain and Sjow had advanced, but they didn't.
I caught that right as you posted. He's looking pretty darn strong as well. Though the other strong toss could be trouble for him as I don't think PvP is his best matchup either.
I am watching LoL right now, it doesn't look like a very good competitive game. Too much goes on in the fights to really see what happens.
It is really hard to observe.
most dota games are really hard to observe in general (10 players spread out across a decently large space, but doing things that you need to be zoomed in on to appreciate? good luck camera guy)
but something about lol does make it even harder to do so
i appreciate the effort they are putting forth though

Haypro losing is never a surprise. Morrow and Dimaga both played ok. Dimaga was a series away from getting out of groups and only lost to the 2 guys who won his group. Sjow ran into a real grinder of a group with July up top and then a couple other strong playeres in HasuObs and Thorzain. No shame in not getting out of there. Kas was the most disappointing player to me honestly. Though he played like a 3 hours series against Naama to start his group play off and maybe that just wore him out beforehand. Strelok I would expect to beat Ret and make it out of his group, but Ret is one of those players who is capable of doing well every now and then.
I suspect Idra will just give up and all in against MC every game and fail miserably. That or get cannon rushed and not defend it.

Well IdrA said after MLG that it was his own mindset defeating him and that he really beat himself there, so hopefully he'll be in a better place this time around.
I think Sen's actually quite good at ZvP these days.
Not against good stargate play which is basically what MC is up to. Even if he beats Sase, odds are he plays MC again and their first match wasn't even close. I'm rooting for the guy, but I think his zvz and zvt are worlds ahead of his zvp right now.
The top half of the bracket is pretty wide open. Naniwa or Huk are a lot better than that part of the bracket. I think Huk's PvP is pretty bad so Naniwa might have a pretty easy path to the finals.

dt rush inc from huk i think
also tyler dropping isn't that surprising considering his recent play
If Thorzain 2-0 Machine and Hasuobs loses to Sjow 0-2 I believe Thorzain would advance.

yeah autolosing to dt's kinda sucks
And hoping HuK wins everything this dreamhack, this is his time to shine!
It is really hard to observe.
EDIT: Thorzain definitely out now, bleh.
Edit: Left out Huk who is playing really well.

Anyone know what the other casters are doing?
