OK, I have a question. My original 3DS went missing. Well, the ambassador games that would be attached to the system have popped up on the Club page for me to do a post plat survey for 10 points. Does this mean that someone has downloaded those games to my system or do those show up automatically due to the ambassador program?
I would guess it's automatically counted due to the way they were awarded. That is, they just added them automatically to your Club Nintendo account and you had to "re-download" them as if you had purchased them, but then deleted them beforehand.
What is the ambassador program? I've not touched the Wii or DS close to two years now.
The 3DS ambassador program? People who bought a 3DS before the price drop got 10 NES and will get 10 GBA games for free. The NES games will be available for the rest of public at a later date (and possibly upgraded/3D) but the GBA games right now are ambassador only.

They're pretty cool, the packaging is especially neat. Also, when you take all the pins out, there's a shitload of them, and they're good sized with pretty nice clasps in the back that seem like they'll hold up pretty well, as opposed to a lot of the chinsey pins I have.
Why'd you have to go and put a Nintendo copywrite on all the pins!?!?! I know who owns the rights to Blooper, Nintendo. Ah well.
EBay or Etsy will be flooded with them. An unofficial one will probably be much better than the plastic thing that Nintendo was using as some kind of promo at some point.
So is it cool to start inputting my codes into my account now? I've already got my platinum reward so I can start working towards the next one now, yes?
I'll have a Twilight Princess code soon if someone wants to nab it; would prefer a trade, but doesn't really matter; I've already got the code on my account so I can't use it.
I'll be at Platinum with Mario Kart 7 I think, but i'm going to just keep entering everything as I get them. I like getting the extra 10 coins from intend to buy. I'll have those coins for the 10 GBA ambassador games eventually as well, I'm going to be waaay over Platinum this year.
Probably going to sell these Pins soon. It's very nice but I just have no use for this at all.
Like I said in the industry thread, Fluidity and Mario vs. DK are also supposed to be offered in addition to the ones pictured.
I've heard really good things about Fluidity, it depends on how much they're charging for it!
To be honest when you step back a little and consider it, it'd be nice to have other Nintendo rewards instead, things you can't get anywhere else. 100 coins is quite literally about $100 that you spent in order to get that $8 game.
But it's still a nice gesture and really does give us some good things to spend our coins on, which people have been clamoring for for ages.
(I mean if you step back and look at the tote bag and consider that it cost you about $500, or whatever...it can be better not to think about it.)

Damn, I thought that Super Mario Kart was on 3DS for a minute I don't think I want to bother with more Wii VC stuff (unless something great comes along), but having that game portable would be pretty neat.

It was also one of my favorite titles this year and I heartily recommend it for either price.

The sad thing is I have so many posters now and I've been framing all of them because it looks awesome. I must have like 9 framed posters that I don't have a place to hang ATM :P I think I have a poster-buying problem
