All of those do look good. I guess the deadline has already passed, right?
The posters seem to be the best prize. Lots of detail.
June 30th to reach gold/platinum level. Prizes just announced though, so those that did qualify have time to put in for whichever one they want, and Nintendo just states that they'll ship prior to Dec 31st.
I just use tacks but hopefully I'll get some cheap frames for them eventually.
What little I do hang is done with 3M velcro strips or hooks. I'm in an apartment and I don't want to have to deal with bitching about nail holes when I eventually leave.

I went and got the posters. I figure the Luigi one is good enough. I just can't bring myself to get a soundtrack that I would rather just listen to on YouTube than own. I might pick up Donkey Kong for 3DS (as in the 100pt or so GB game). I loved the shit out of that game. I actually pulled out my old Gameboys today, so I think that pushed me over the edge.
as far as gold options... i'm torn between link's awakening or maybe sakura samurai but the trailer makes sakura seem really shallow in the gameplay area.

If it doesn't immediately grab you after picking it up you'll probably get bored after two or three bosses.
so updating from my issue earlier in case anyone else was having trouble getting their rewards. I was viewing stuff in chrome at work which has a fairly tight proxy server but as soon as i got home i didn't run into any issues seeing the platinum rewards or selecting and ordering.
so if you were having problems, maybe try a different browser as a step!
I prefer the original game boy version of link's awakening with the wacky bugs

Kinda wish they gave plat the reward + the game download. I'd get LInk's awakening again easily, but the soundtrack sounds good. Says its a 2 disc in jewel case so it might not be the shortened version of the soundtrack.
I have no room for posters, and I've never played Majora's Mask. The last two years' prizes weren't that great, especially compared to the statue, but this is really pushing it. I guess I'll take the CD, to keep with the Ocarina one they gave away.

I went with the posters. Might frame the Wind Waker one. Don't give a rats ass about the MM soundtrack.
I'm glad I made platinum this year, I love Majora's Mask and now it can sit next to my Ocarina of Time soundtrack.

I feel like the soundtrack is something I'll be able to get on ebay if I want for not a lot of money, whereas posters are expensive + expensive to ship :P So I went with the posters.
Also, I could technically just download all the songs off the internet somewhere if I really wanted since I'm pretty sure they are just ripped directly from the game anyways. Would be another story if they had orchestral stuff in there.
They should REALLY let us platinum gods download the digital games on top of the physical download. It's no extra cost to them, and a fuckton of extra good will from us.
I went with the soundtrack, myself. I have the Ocarina of Time 3D soundtrack from that promotion they did, the Majora's Mask soundtrack just seems like "the" thing to go with it.
These rewards are pretty lame. I went with the Sakura Samurai download because I have no room for posters and I don't want the soundtrack for a game I've never played.
It's nothing personal against the series or anything like that; I just never got around to playing the n64 Zelda games and I haven't exactly made it a priority to go back.

It'll happen eventually.
I have an OoT 3DS cart that I need to play. And then I should figure out how to get Majora's Mask which I've never played.

Sounds about right. My OoT 3DS cart has been sitting unloved and unused since I bought it.
If you own a Wii or Wii U, you owe it to yourself to play Majora's Mask.
I have the game on N64 and Gamecube, and I really want to play through it, but man fuck games with time constraints.
The time constraint really isn't all that bad in the game. You can speed up or slow down time with the Ocarina. Surprisingly, you can get a lot done in three days and actually WANT to start the trek over on day 1 once you get into the flow.

If they ever do a Majora's Mask remake/re-release they gotta fix the save game situation. Owl statues as they were used sucked, and playing the song of time to save your game for real sucked. They have to let you save whenever you want, especially if they would ever release it on a handheld like OoT.

The worst part is that the game wasn't 100% bug free (I think the memory card made them push the system a little harder than they probably should have). I've lost a shitload of progress before due to hard lockups. The Gamecube version is especially not emulated well and tends to break easily (actual cart is probably more stable, but I swear I've had that lock up on me before too).

Eh, I'd rather play the GBC Mario Golf.

To be fair, the 'shorter one' still had fifty-four tracks. Granted, that's half of the 'original' one, but still. 54 songs.
So...still the best pick on the list.

They wasted the opportunity to reference an 80s song. Sad face.
It's not even an actual golf game, regardless of how bad the Itchy and Scratchy game is.

The time only dictates the events. You can reverse it on command.
Just one of those things I can't get passed in games I guess.
