The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
In a thread idea I blatantly stole from NeoGAF, this is the "FREE to a good home" thread, where I clean out my closet of stuff that I frankly don't want anymore, and isn't worth enough to go through the trouble of selling.
The exciting prequel to Shadowgate™, the NINTENDO game created by ICOM.
The world is suffering from a horrible wickedness: An evil king rules Shadowgate, and the poison is sure to spread across the land... unless an orphan boy named Jairen can defeat him. You are Jairen, and the future is up to you.
The wizard Lakmir teachers you to make weapons of fire, and the warrior Hawk trains you to wield sword and scimitar. Are you prepared to challenge the goblins, orcs, and other terrifying creatures that stand between you and the evil king who dwells at Shadowgate?
The exciting prequel to Shadowgate™, the Nintendo® action-adventure game, with loads of game-solving hints throughout.
I saw this while I was looking for used books at a Goodwill and paid $0.69 for it knowing that I would never read it, but someone I'd meet would probably get a kick out of it.

I could go for that, to fit into my WoP collection...

Like Mega Man Legends? Then check out my story, Legends of the Halcyon Era - An Adventure in the World of Mega Man Legends on TMMN and AO3!
Great thread idea - my son just got some PS2 games in a grab bag that are too old for him - maybe I'll convince him to just throw them up here given they're probably worth about a nickel at Gamestop.
So sad that Logitech case is for the 1000 model PSP...
Gah, if only someone had thought of this a few months ago. I already chucked an old PSOne with accessories, a couple games, and a handful of old strategy guides. Like the Potter game I'm not sure where the PSOne package came from since mine is packed away.
I probably have some PS2 games I could see if anyone wants to claim later tonight.

Well, the Logitech case will fit the PSP 1000, its just that the case is thicker since the 1000 was thicker, so it'll flop around vertically in there a bit.
I've got four 3M 20x12x1" air filters for your home HVAC unit. WHO WANTS' EM
I have some leftover dimensional shingles to get rid of too, from my roof replacement.
Just sitting there.
Wondering why they weren't given the chance to be up there.

Putting this shit up for grabs, becuase I sold my PSP and all associated games ages ago, but the stores wouldn't take Riviera because it was from the UK, and it wouldn't take MGS because there was no original packaging.
[strike]- Riviera: The Promised Land, PSP (Region 2, will play on any PSP with a UMD drive), original packaging, manual, it's pretty much in mint condition[/strike]
[strike]- Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, PSP (Region 1), bought used in the States, the previous owner apparently had a disdain for his or her games but it runs last time I played it.[/strike]
BOTH CLAIMED
Throw me a PM if you're interested in either one. First come, first serve UNLESS you're European (even better if you're in Sweden), in which case I'll prioritize you to save on postage. Sorry, Ameribros, but my wallet ain't as fat as it should be.
The only one I won't give away is my copy of Mystical Ninja... That game is so fantastic.
e: Maybe I will..... If I can't play it... BAH this is the worst part about being a collector.
If you love it, keep it. It'll be much, much easier to find a N64 in the future than it'll be finding a copy of Mystical Ninja.
Pretty much. Even if I were to for some bizzare reason decide to give away/sell all my SNES stuff, theres no way in hell I would ever give away my copies of Chrono Trigger or Earthbound, even if I didnt have anything to play them on.
I have like a billion DVDs to get rid of but I can't really afford shipping things right now.
But to make up for that, I do have a code for a download of Red Faction Battlegrounds on Xbox Live that I'm 75 percent certain still works if anyone wants it.

My two submissions have been claimed! Sorry to those of you who wanted them.
All my memories of SSI go back to strategy games, rather than RPGs.
Oh man, you missed a ton of killer games. You can find a bunch of awesome RPGs from SSI without even getting into the AD&D/Gold Box stuff.
The hardest part is getting them to run on modern machines.
Emphasis on memories. I'd heard of several of SSI's PC versions of D&D, and they're definitely not for me. I wasn't terribly fond of RPGs back then, and I didn't like D&D (and still don't, to be honest). That knocks out a bunch (though not all) of them.
Alright ladies and gents, current plan is to buy a postage scale this weekend, pick up some boxes from the local USPS office, and I'll get things shipped out mid next week. I'll keep everyone updated via PM.
Edit: Also, gonna add another batch of stuff to the OP by week's end, if all goes to plan.
I'll be posting my stuff for the taking in about a week or so. I'm going to be cleaning out the basement over the next week or so and I know I have a butt load of PC games on disc to get rid of and I'd like to post everything at once. I only have a CDRomless Netbook now so I figure my loss is your gain
Edit: What's the cheapest way to ship media right now?

Jesus fuck yes. I have a ton of crap I can throw in here.

For now, I can offer myself. I will come live at your house, for free! :^:
Taken.
Leave your clothes. >_>
I await bus fare.
We live in the same town.
Muahahaha.
I really love that movie, and there's still a chance I might get a PSP one day.
I have a lot of older games up on Goozex, but they are going slow and I might throw them on here as theme bundles - like mid-90's SSI RPGs.
Oh man, SSI
That takes me back

Otherwise it still fits fine.

I'll be keeping an eye on this thread for pretty much your posts. Been working on collecting older n64 (and SNES and PS1) games.
I'll probably randomly pop in here to gift out copies of steam games since I dont have much physical stuff to give away.

I have one of those too but since I hate the series I wanted to make someone do something horrible for it.
UK here if that matters, not sure if codes can be used across regions. PM me or I'll stick em up here in a few mins if they're still up for grabs.
Active forum members only please.
