I am a pantheon fan myself
tell me how it's done there boss
I'm still experimenting. I love Panth to death. He's so much fun for me and my play style. I like skirmishing, taking pot shots, being patient, then bam, jumping in and bursting. And quite frankly, I just like his visual design. So I've been really trying hard to find a way to make him useful beyond lvl 7.
First thing's first, the philosophy of playing Pantheon. I know the game calls him easy, but he really isn't. Unlike a lot of the other assasin's, you have to be really, really patient. He doesn't really have any sustained dps, nor above average survivability or a really amazing ult. And he has pretty much no escape talents. Contrast to Nocturne who can just kind of dive in with crazy attack speed and some life steal and his fear if it hits the fan. If you dived in like that with Panth you'd melt. So if you are going for the kill, you gotta make sure you're going to get the kill quickly.
What he does have is an awesome AD combo (W-E-Q) and a really annoying early game harass tool with his Q. His Q is pretty important because it has such a low cooldown. Don't be afraid to use it for minion last hits if you're being zoned out. His combo is awesome because in team fights, you can kind of skirt the edge of things and reach the squishy casters or ranged carries hiding in the back and isolate them from the fight. Likewise with your E, you can position yourself to hit multiple champs as they are running around trying to hit your AP or running around your tank. And with the low cool down of your Q, you rarely need to autoattack in those fights, and it's perfect for picking off runners. Don't initiate with Panth. That is not your job and will get you killed. Try to always fight with at least one partner. Unless you get fed super early, you won't really be able to solo carry. I often find I get scores more like that of a tank, than a fighter, but I'm ok with that.
So with that in mind, things that help Panth are mana, cooldown reductions (because he's basically an AD melee caster) armor pen, and just straight up damage. Forget about building a tank, fast attack speed, crits, or AP.
Runes and masteries. For runes it's all desolation marks, clarity seals, focus glyphs, and for quint's I'm not really settled yet. I have movement speed for now, but I may experiment with straight damage, just to give a bit extra early game omph.
For masteries, since I'm only lvl 28, I have 9-0-19. I know that seems weird to have a melee champ with so little in offense, but my thinking is that Panth's strength lies in being able to spam his abilities. To that end, I have all those points in utility so that I can max out extended mind, meditation, quickness, and intelligence. Then the rest in what ever you feel suits you. In offense right now my big thing was to max out sorcery.
For items, my needs are generally high damage, cdr, and mana. Lately my build has started as Doran's Blade - Boots 1 - Meki Pendant. Then from here it gets tricky and it all depends on what's going on.
My next priority is to finish my boots into merc boots and get a BF sword. It's at this time I also try to decide if I'm going to need a last whisper for the game or if I'll be fine with the brutalizer into ghost blade. Sometimes I'll grab another long sword, which can be turned into the last whisper or brute, if I had to base early and wanted a little bit extra damage. Next is the blood thirster. This is one of the most important items for Panth because it gives you that large boost in AD, which your abilities scale off of, and the life steal is useful. I know IE gives you a large boost without having to stack(which isn't really that big of a deal because the blood thirster stacks off of minions anyways) but it's crit boost is useless to panth and it's really expensive.
Then to cap off late game I get some sort of defensive item. Just so if I take a potshot or two before the team fight starts proper, I don't instantly die when I leap in. For this purpose, I like building Warden's Mail into the Randuin's Omen. But I've been experimenting lately with getting a Guardian Angel because it provides both armour and MR and if you do die in the middle of a teamfight, they might not be expecting you to be revived and you can land another quick combo. Then I just fill out the rest with what ever I feel I need. This may involve selling the Doran's at some point if I run out of slots, or if I need the cash from it to get a second blood thirster. Stacked blood thirster's I've found work well. I've also been trying to figure out what to do with the Meki Pendant as I haven't found something that it's built into that I like, so I often sell it. It's wasteful, but that early mana regen it provides is super helpful, and it gives me that momentum to get the other stuff.
So in a game that is going ideal for me it would be doran's blade - boots 1 - Meki Pendant - bf sword - merc boots - blood thirster - last whisper or brute/ghostblade - sold meki and doran's - Warden's mail - bf sword/blood thirster - Randuin's.
I do deviate depending on how things are going. I may get armour pen eariler if I feel I need it. I sometimes throw a hex drinker in there early on if I'm taking a bunch of AP pot shots. And I always buy sight wards at some point early, generally at my first base back. I think I may try building the Meki into a chalice, instead of getting the hex drinker if I'm being harassed by AP. The Meki is the only part of this that I don't really like, but the way I play I need that mana.
But the main core you want to build to are Merc Boots, Blood Thirster, Last Whisper/Brute. From there add what you feel you need or works for you.
Whew, that was long. I like Pantheon too much.

Crown was like that when the dude played Mundo. He was all "watch out bitch ill getcha at the knees" and they blocked low while a cleaver went high. For forty or fifty minutes, CrownAxe methodically stalked down and killed every person on the NA server before coming back to our game and riding Baron into the enemy base.
Panth is tough late game. And that's the only thing I'd like to see buffed about him. I like his abilities where they are. It'd be nice if his stun lasted a little longer. But I have a feeling if it did it would make the W-E combo way too devestating. But he does need a little more something to be a bit more relevant late game.
That said though, he still has his uses. You just have to change up your play style. Early game Panth is aggression while late game Panth is a lot more finesse. I feel like I've changed a lot of games as Panth because in our later game team fights I can combo focus that Ashe or MF who thought they were safe and single handedly take them out of the fight to start. This does come from picking my spots, and he isn't the kind of champ that can wade into every fight because of an insane amount of damage or toughness. Some team fights you just know you won't have that opportunity and are resigned to just flinging spears to pick at them a bit and distract them while your big guns work. I don't know, I like to think that in those hectic team fights with aoe going off everywhere, I'm that scalpel that can remove that annoying tumor, I mean Teemo.
That said, I just finished a game with him 14/3/9. 30 minute surrender. 8-)

I just play this game casually with some college friends, but I've just gone and grabbed myself the Digital Collector's Pack, so now I have Fiddlesticks to play with (which is awesome) and then saw he has a Pumpkinhead Fiddlesticks skin (which is awesome to the max). Now, for the life of me I've been looking back and forth through the store and cannot find Pumpkinhead Fiddlesticks listed under skins. Just Fiddle Me Timbers, Spectral Fiddlesticks, and Bandito Fiddlesticks.
So, what's up with that? If I can't get it I'll just go grab Veigar's Leprechaun skin.
I THINK YOU SHOULD ATTACK THIS PERSON THAT IS STUNNED AND SLOWED FOR THE NEXT FEW SECONDS

Pumpkinead Fiddlesticks was part of a Halloween sale. I think it was a limited release and only available then. Not 100% sure but if you can't find it in the store that would make sense.

It may or may not be fair that I got randomed one of my favorite tanks the last game but oh well. Also thanks to that game mode I played heimer for the first time. He seems pretty good. A lot of his stuff i have no direct control over though
Agreed. I'd like to see them a bit more common than they have been lately.
I haven't played much lately but when I start playing again in a week or so I'll sure be up for some all randoms via vent or the pa channel or whatever.

The skins you don't find in the store are most likely limited release that will probably not go on sale again.
I have given up on playing anything except support. Dealing damage, and killing things, those are completely unintuitive to me in team games. But I like to think I am doing pretty well at saving people who are dying.
Currently I think my best is Janna, followed by Soraka, but I'm trying to learn how to play Sona too. What can I do to be useful with her late game?

When we were playing that game we actually lost a tower at mid, because CrownAxe was midding, and when we noticed we lost the tower and asked him why the Hell that happened, he said:
"It's because every time I get back to mid I kill the other Corki, and then there's nothing to do anymore, so I go gank."
Giving him 43 kills was part of the strategy, you see.
I think Blitzcrank may be a character that I would love to learn, and I would greatly appreciate someone giving me a rundown of how to Blitzcrank.
your success with blitz is determined mostly by how well/cleverly you can rocket grab dudes
I normally build him with an early tear then mana heavy/tank due to his passive (frozen heart/banshees), turn tear into manamune for easier tower smashing with uppercut/more damage.
triforce is pretty good on him for the same reason but I don't usually do it until after those items, if at all. I don't like it early
edit: for skills, prioritize grab, then overdrive imo whenever you can't put a point in ult. all more points in the uppercut do is reduce cooldown while grab gets more damage and overdrive gets more AS/MS
I think Blitzcrank may be a character that I would love to learn, and I would greatly appreciate someone giving me a rundown of how to Blitzcrank.
can you buy sheen/manamune? can you land a skillshot? can you press e, r, w, after you've landed said skillshot? can you turn a giant STEAM-YORDLE into a mobile sealth tank? if you answered yes to all these, then you can blitz.
really though, he is best at setting up kills by hooking people then fisting them till they bleed. you can go ap or AD really, but you want lots of mana to troll people with your passive. so, an early tear is good. i used to build him AP for maximum burst, but since you can now have 100% uptime on e, damage got way better. i should play him more. i just been playing a lot of jungleplank lately.
edit: i forgot about frozen heart. also, banshee's will counter you pretty bad. and start with sapphire crystal
the more I play clock girl, the more I don't want to play her.
I literally cannot fathom how someone could not want to play Orianna.

I notice that Doublelift, the most famous Blitzcrank player, rushes a Catalyst and then goes to Trinity Force. I imagine he prefers having a strong early game that going for Tear first wouldn't provide. Perhaps it is dependant on who you are matched up against. I play Blitz quite a lot and all I can really say for advice is that if you're up against a half decent opponent who anticipates a grab then don't bother trying to initiate with it, and instead wait until a fight starts and use it to grab those who start to run, or charge into an enemy and then grab when they're closer.

Orianna with pure AP does a mind-boggling amount of damage.
Also, make sure you skill up your Q and your E(prioritize E) over W. I mean, I cannot see how you could find her boring, hurling balls around and doing awesome damages is nothing short of super fun.
