OK guys I have a problem. I bought Recettear in an indie pack so a mere few cents went to to people that invented the phrases "Capitalism Ho!" and "Yayifications". Someone should explain to me how I can fix that problem using the above phrases.
What are we thinking, will Terraria come down any more?
I'm thinking yes. If not, you could always just wait until the end of the sale anyway.
Yeah I could see it being a daily deal. Even if not, no harm in waiting till the end ^
I think I am going to skip Recettear yet again. As interesting as it sounds, 5$ is sadly a lot right now, even more so with it only being day 1 of the sale. I will resist the Newell
I've wanted Back to the Future for months, but it's only 50% off and I have so many games that I own but haven't played, plus games like Civ V and Mass Effect that I can beat over and over again
Oblvion is downloading. Are there any recommended mods I should get? (Mainly stuff like better UI and maybe graphical upgrades)
Just forget about Oblivion, game sucks. Install it then install http://www.nehrim.de
Play that. 10x better. Course they are speaking in german moonbabble but thats what subtitles are for.
I believe it actually got an English release somewhat recently. Should be around the website.
Yes, it did. Doesn't change the fact that there's no English voices.
Oblivion does not suck, although Nehrim is nice if you want a more linear, cinematic questline experience as opposed to a medieval fantasy fuck-around-and-have-random-adventures simulator, which is where Oblivion is at its best.

Except Morrowind does that part better.
Does Oblivion let me punch a God to death with my bare hands? I don't think so.
And this will probably be lost in the thread, and I meant to ask it yesterday, but... What is/the a good/great SciFi based 4X game? So many out there to choose from.
X3: Terran Conflict! It's also half price today.
As for the Headshot achievement, let's all head to the PA group chatroom. We can organize from there.
X3 isn't a 4X, it's a...uh...uh...it's an X game.

its not too hard- just focus on hugs/kisses and you can abuse the checkpoint system if you miss a grand/two grand bonus plate. also, don't be afraid to hit the chute late, die, and then float safely from the checkpoint into the red circle.
I found that I did better when I stopped using the mouse, then better again when I stopped using the keyboard. That's right, my inputs were counter-productive. If anyone knows the secret to the crisp, non-slippery movement in the demo videos, please tell me.

It lets you punch a daedric lord to death with your bare hands, at least.

If anyone (1 person) wants the Borderlands GOTY edition but can't get it due to waiting on a paycheck/destitution/nazi zombies etc, make a post and send me a pm.

That falls under the purview of the main questline, not random fucking around, so it's not even relevant to what I said. It's true that Morrowind probably has a more interesting main quest. But Oblivion betters it in some other areas. And no, I am not going to have a Morrowind-vs-Oblivion pissing match with you, the internet doesn't need another one.

I downloaded Nehrim some time ago but never installed it; does it run as a separate game from Oblivion, or is it a mod that you open up within the main game?
I've been trying to get FCOM to install with this all-in-one link that you can find around with Google, but I've never been able to do it successfully.
When using OMM to install mods that are supposed to "work together", are you supposed to overwrite the files when installing the next mod (such as textures and such), or always keep them installed separately? This also applies to updates of mods.

Buy the Telltale pack for $50. You save so much more its economically unsound not to buy it.

Oblivion is a steal at today's price.
Also, Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the USS Enterprise is in Oblivion.
Holy cats. As I am typing my post about how classy Corehealer is, Chocobolicious is being classy and engineering the arrival of Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale in my inbox. Thank you!
You know, I'm kinda hoping that GTAIV isn't one of the daily deals at any point. I've been wanting it for ages now, and it'll just break my heart not being able to get it for the 5th time in a row.

Yes, but how much does it cost for Yayificiations?

If you have Oblivion on steam, you unfortunately need to copy the files directly into your steam install. If its a disc based install or whatever you can make a seperate folder.
after that you just unload all the normal data files and only load the Nehrim ones and run it like normal, and its gravy.

Hang on, so OMM doesn't work with Steam Oblivion? It has to be all done manually?
So that means no Wyre Bash or anything of the like?

Yes, unfortunately having the Steam version of Oblivion makes having parallel Oblivion and Nehrim installs coexist problematic, which is part of the reason I didn't keep Nehrim long enough to finish it.
Hang on, so OMM doesn't work with Steam Oblivion?
No, it totally does. Nehrim is much more extensive than any mod you would use OMM for. The issues with trying to have it and SteamOblivion installed at the same time are more arcane.
I might pick up Magicka, but there's not a lot I want on Steam at the moment. I'm hoping Universe Sandbox hits a sale one of these days.
I'm getting Magicka, no doubt. I just have to wait and hope there's a daily sale because A) I'm broke and I need two copies so my husband and I can play together.

Wow I am getting really close on this AaAaAA!!!! achievement, up to 34,450 (ticks over at 35,000). I think if I can get up to 200 kisses I'll get it.
If anyone else is struggling with this, remember that penalties only cost 250, but if you're going to get a plate that's worth more than that from the reset, do it

Edit: Nvm, a friend got a 4 pack and was gifting it out to people on Facebook
Has anyone unlocked the Fate of the World mission or the X3: Terran Conflict thingy? Are they good?
I'll probably end up picking them regardless but inquiring minds want to know.
Also I have money burning a hole in my paypal account so whoever PM's me first gets a copy of Borderlands (with the usual 'be a forum regular' caveat of be registered for a while and have some posts etc)

Thanks. So the only thing that may be interesting is that Dark Angels DLC...but not at $7.50.
Looks like I might be taking my first step into 40K with Retribution...
Still have a huge backlog from the Steam X-mas sale too.
