Demoknights are proof that Valve loves us all, and wants up to be happy.

I have Noob question.
I played a medic and clicked to activate my heal beam. Plusses overflowed from the Heavy and I could see my Uber meter rising, BUT there was no actual beam.
I though it was just a glitch but when I activated Uber only I Ubered and my Heavy died with a look of betrayal on his face (I then respawned as a scout, ashamed). What happened there? Lag?

Were you holding the mouse button down? Unless you change it in the advanced options, you must hold the entire time youre healing someone. Also you have to do the same for ubering i believe.

I have it changed in the advance options.
It's worked for me tons of times before with just a click for both the starting of the heal beam and the activation of Uber.
The only weirdness was I didn't actually see a chain between us (even though the heavy had plusses over flowing and I totally noticed when the Medic said "I am fully charged")
so when all the people are saying that vintage weapons are bad and useless they're saying what exactly
is this an inside TF2 joke or something
Vintage items are collectible. Most people don't care about stuff like that, but some do.
That there are people here who seem to honestly hate them confuses me too. Maybe vintage items killed their parents or something.
That's why I said "if you're into vintage" :^:
And there's a reason I'm unloading them; I'd feel bad using them to craft and I know some people want them. I bought all the starter packs so that I wouldn't accidentally craft dupes plus I'd get more hats.
In order to be a non free player, you just have to buy something in the store. Right? Like a $0.99 hat or class pack?
I mean, sure, if you NEVER buy another game on Steam, it's $5 to add money to the wallet, but for most gamers who want to check out the 'non-free' version (hats and trading), is it only realistically $0.99?
So how long does it take for a promo item to show up in your backpack? I recently did the spiral knights one and bought the sunglasses from the summer sale, but neither of them are showing up.
Source Engine Changes (CS:S, DoD:S, TF2, HL2:DM)
Fixed a case where servers would accumulate ghost players
Fixed bug with SourceTV and Replay causing player count to be off by one.
Team Fortress 2
Added lots of new Summer items, including the Refreshing Summer Cooler Key
Added a new achievement: Escape the Heat
Fixed a case where the client-side voting dialog would have an incorrect list of items
Fixed a bug where some items would not update their team colors correctly
Fixed a client backpack crash
Updated the Lo-Fi Longwave to be paintable
Updated the localization files
Demoman is getting something called "Tamoshanter".
Heavy getting something called "Big Jaw". Also a cop hat+ cop glasses.
Pyro finally got his boot hat.
Scout got flip-flops? Maybe similar to essential accessories?
The only new weapon I see in the Mann Co. catalogue is a golf club for the Demoman, which can not randomly critical hit and removes 25 HP. No positive attributes. Apart from the pointlessness of Demo getting yet another melee weapon, it seems like the most useless weapon in the game.

If it's that bad I'm sure there will be a really dumb achievement for using it.
The summer glasses are pretty damn ugly on most of the classes and clip through a lot of the hats. It's, um, interesting, I guess.
Also just sad because I really wanted them to go on my engineer with his pretty pink ten gallon but totally forgot I'd have to take off my Teddy Roosebelt so F that.

Not sure what happened with your uber, if you were in fact healing the heavy, it should have triggered.
I guess I'll turn on the arrow for the next few rounds. Thanks guys.
I was just so shocked that it was even possible to uber only Yourself (but it's possible I just didn't the lucky guy behind me).
I want a Tomislav.
I have stuff to trade.
Lets make this happen.
That didn't take long.

Somewhere between 100% and infinity?

Oh my god, bear is driving!
I suck so bad.

That's not really a distinguishing characteristic in tf2's community. I've been playing since the beta and I'm still bad.
Just last night, after recieving my 3rd summer cooler, I said how I couldn't wait for Valve to reveal the cooler keys for $2 each.
Welp.
