I'm trying to figure out the best way to share an excel spreadsheet to allow collaborative editing. Google spreadsheets, unfortunately, breaks the formatting in unacceptable ways. I'm guessing that MS Office Web Apps, specifically the Excel Web App, would meet my needs. Office.com, unfortunately, seems to have been designed by a crazy person, because after spending an hour poking around I came away more confused than ever.
What do I need to do in order to set up Excel Web App? How is Sharepoint involved? I'm using Office 2007.
