Guys, I wanted to show you an awesome dude I've met on the intertubes: http://wypierpapier.blogspot.com/
His blog is sadly in Polish but I'm sure you will appreciate the art he's posted. Not only talented, also extremely nice (helped me a lot by teaching me on 3d low-poly flora). Also this:
"I was only tasked with making some new textures for the map, but my hand kinda slipped so together with Rob we made a new heightmap, new tree models, waves, skybox, shaders, rivers, borders, particles and changed the UI a bit." :bz
Ah man, at 30lbs lost I now officially have to wear a belt all of the time! Sorry if it seems like I am constantly bragging about my weight loss...the truth is I am still pretty overweight but I feel really pleased with my progress and I pretty much spend all day by myself at home and would like to share my excitement with someone besides my roommate.
Thanks guys. Been at it since August 18th, and only 13lbs to go to hit my November 1st goal and almost halfway to ideal weight. DON'T WORRY I WILL KEEP YOU UPDATED EVERY TINY TINY TINY STEP OF THE WAY!

weekly nude self-portraits so we can all share in your journey
This is a really good idea. I did think about doing a sort of daily photo journey thing since I was going to be going at it so hardcore but decided part of the reason I want to lose so much weight is so I don't have to live with even more photos of myself as a fat person in the future.
@Projeck: I would but I'm a bit busy today (see below). Best I can do (and it's still pretty good advice), is to go buy Richard Schmid's Alla Prima if you want some of the best words on painting available (at least, as far as I know.)
Wish me luck guys, today's the day I load all my shit into a U-Haul for my third cross-country move in the last 6 years. Only now I've got way more shit and I don't have anyone else helping me, so I really hope I don't break my back or have a hernia doing this.

concept design academy is so amazing, there's so many classes i want to take there.
I might start doing some next semester prox. We should take some classes together! like a team.
cake you sound like yoda.
which makes sense, you're like yoda of drawings.
more things:
I had my first day of my internship at bolt city yesterday!!!!
Kazu did a paintover or my work. Outwardly I was like hmm yes very interesting, hmm
inwardly i was like !!!!! peeing my paaaaants! woooooo! YEEEEEAAAAAAH!
everyone there is so good. i have never felt so intimidated, but i am totally in love with all of them. I learned too much for my brain to handle yesterday. I feel like my work improved exponentially from one day of sitting there watching these guys work.
one of the guys there introduced me to ryan lang's work
if you want to gag... go look at ryan lang's blog. It's daunting to see how far I still have to go, but it's also inspiring and motivating.
also i tried to log in as "beavs" today. my brain is so scattery.
Man, your life sounds pretty awesome, Beavs. I need to pick your brain at some point about how you get in contact with so many cool artists/projects/companies.
Also, hooray, I managed to get pretty much everything in my apartment stuffed into my U-Haul without injuring myself. I just have to vacuum up my carpet (or rake it...for fuck's sake apparently I shed like a dog ) and cram my mattress up in the trailer and I'll be good to go.
Somehow I'm finding doing this all by myself a lot less stressful than having members of my family help me- probably because I was able to set my own pace, rather than be made to keep up with my brother and father's strategy, which seemed to be to maximize the amount of shit you're trying to carry with every trip, thus resulting in a lot of swearing and grunting and stress and pain. I seem to remember the last time I moved feeling like it was 3 times as much work, even though I had less stuff and twice the number of people helping.

"breaking: bryan lee omalley's new book is actually a seven thousand page "homestuck" fanfic"
this is fantastic and a total lie
That is one of the things my dad insists upon... I also have malware bytes because... well, that works.
Also guys, I went to work today!!!!!! It was even at a real job, not one of those sleazy joints that make me dance for the money.
The brush goes on paper, not in the mouth.

is there a trend on Tumblr to post 30 second videos in the form of multiple GIFs with captions?
I am in a Twilight Zone episode where a guy travels to an alternate dimension where everything is the same except Youtube was never invented.
