Outlook problems - PDF attachment invisible
Drake ChambersLay out my formal shorts.Registered Userregular
Someone outside my office is trying to email me a PDF document. I receive the email and I know the file is attached because the size of the message reflects it (4MB, roughly the size of the attachment) and if I forward the message to my personal email I can view it. However, the file itself doesn't show up anywhere on my end in Outlook, and the little paperclip icon that indicates an attachment is present disappeared after I manipulated the email.
My local tech support guy is a silly goose. He insists the file was "stripped" from the email and that there's nothing we can do to recover it. When I ask why I can forward it to gmail and read it there, he spews some crap about gmail being "different".
