The funniest physics death I can think of was in the Portal 2 co-op. It's not a funny description, but there's a puzzle in a big room with aerial faith plates, and one of the players has to fly through the room and catch a box that the other player launches or drops toward them. Watching my friend fall to his death after colliding in mid-air with my mistimed box drop had me laughing so hard.
Athenor: I played the demo on the Xbox 360, and I had so much fun! I can't imagine why you wouldn't do everything like an over-the-top insane comic book action hero in a game like this.
I'm in the mood to give out dark messiah of might and magic. So post your best physics deaths, pointy poles and boots optional, and I'll pick one out in a few hours

I definitely don't have any screenshots of amazing physics deaths, but the best one I can remember is a sad sad tail of gravity in Portal 2 co-op. Me and ChaosHat were in the last area, the old test site, and we're playing around with the gels and the light bridges to get up to the exit. He gets up their first, by the design of the level, but we couldn't figure out how I was supposed to get up there. So we sat there, for a bit, just kind of dicking around, throwing ideas at each other while I am shooting the light bridges to various walls and walking all over the place in front of him. I mean I am just hitting any portal ready surface while he mocks me for walking in and out of his view constantly. So as he finally figures out the correct approach, I finally hit one of the walls that is at an angle, and walk through the portal oblivious to how steep the slope is. It as this point Hat finally turns back to me and declares he has the solution as I slide past his field of view straight down a light bridge ramp of my own making to my death in the water below.
