It turns out I have no idea how the save system in ARES works. I accidentally deleted my old save by starting a new game, because that's how I thought I'd access the level select. Now I don't even want to go for the ticket that much.
Two Worlds II I only rented and it had some charm to it. The main character seems to be aware he's in an never ending series of fetch quests and sounds particularly loathsome of all the NPCs he deals with. Is still a pretty broken and awkward game though. I'd wait for it to hit cheaper.

Mass Effect 2 goes on sale a lot really. Maybe not on Steam, haven't notice, but I've seen both games in the 5-10 dollar sale ranges the last month at least 3 times.

Yeah, I got it from the same pack. Was not one of the games I was really interested in in the pack so haven't messed around with really beyond the first few levels. Seems a bit slower than I expected.

The description says it's the first in an episodic series, so I'm not under any impression of it being long. $5 is the absolute max I could see myself paying if it doesn't get the daily treatment, but I doubt I'll even pay that much for it. I guess it'll depend on if I need the ticket or not at the end of the sale.

Ok I've decided, whilest failing to get the cheevo for Flight Control HD, that Tropico 3 is not going to get purchased at this time. Backlog is getting ridiculous and stuff. That is all!

However, the sale price is still pretty bad (TW2 should not have a default retail price of 50 bucks) and I'd bet on it hitting 5 bucks during Xmas sale.

I would bet almost anything it shows up before the sale is over. I wouldn't expect a HUGE discount though. More like Witcher 2's.
