To celebrate what an unbeliavebly cool dude Iolo is for gifting me Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, I'll be offering Portal 2 and both Left 4 Deads for free to whoever can PM me and tell me which they want the fastest.

I reserve the right to arbitrarily decide whether you've been on these forums long enough to receive these.

Let it be known that Peewi is both a gentleman and a scholar, because he decided I was worthy of receiving Portal 2!

Special thanks to Iolo, because without his generosity, I wouldn't have received the game.

    Cheers guys!

If you go by my internet name, I'm not so sure it's a good name for a kid.

It turns out I have no idea how the save system in ARES works. I accidentally deleted my old save by starting a new game, because that's how I thought I'd access the level select. Now I don't even want to go for the ticket that much.

Two Worlds II I only rented and it had some charm to it. The main character seems to be aware he's in an never ending series of fetch quests and sounds particularly loathsome of all the NPCs he deals with. Is still a pretty broken and awkward game though. I'd wait for it to hit cheaper.

    Thanks. I was weakening.

Seconded and appreciated. My cursor had hovered over "add to cart" a few times already.

OTOH, the urge to get Tropico is rising. Not sure why I haven't before - I like city builders. Lemme peruse some reviews.

The quickest place to do the achievement is on level 3, it's not that far.

I gotta imagine ARES will either be a daily or in an indie pack considering the achievement and it having a DLC item for tickets.

Yeah, I got it from the same pack. Was not one of the games I was really interested in in the pack so haven't messed around with really beyond the first few levels. Seems a bit slower than I expected.

The description says it's the first in an episodic series, so I'm not under any impression of it being long. $5 is the absolute max I could see myself paying if it doesn't get the daily treatment, but I doubt I'll even pay that much for it. I guess it'll depend on if I need the ticket or not at the end of the sale.

I'm surprised that Dragon Age 2 showed up as a daily deal.

Also, speaking of Origin, they currently have Mass Effect 2 for $12.

It's been on sale for less, but not that much less, and it's one hell of a game.

The second is better in most ways. Still not what I'd call good, but if you liked the first somehow, you'll like the second.

However, the sale price is still pretty bad (TW2 should not have a default retail price of 50 bucks) and I'd bet on it hitting 5 bucks during Xmas sale.
