Is there a chat room or any time of real-time text social community for PA?

I would definitely make use of a chat room with users logged onto the forums (or not) that are a part of the wonderful PA community? Any ideas?

Its a shame there isn't an embedded one, that would rock. Feedback appreciated.

    I believe people use Tinychat (seplusplus) and #paforums on slashNET.

    the facebook group chat isn't so bad.

    there was too much meanspirited sniping in the wall posts for me to want to stick around though.

    From my limited experience in the facebook group, a majority of the activity is just people being dicks to other people to a much higher degree than they're allowed to be here. Without the authority to reign people in, it's pretty awful a lot of the time.

    That's not to say that everyone is that way. And it's possible it's toned down quite a bit since I quit the group.
