It's somewhat scary; as I get older, I'm getting a taste for foods I hated before. First, it was mustard. Now, it's pickles. I fear someday soon I may actually start liking ... *shudder* ... sauerkraut.

My family is all like, "How can you eat bratwurst without sauerkraut?!" and I'm like, "How can you ruin perfectly good meat with pickled cabbage?!"
I first enjoyed pickles on my hamburger precisely 10 days ago. I used to pick them off. Then I'd leave them on and just deal with it, last Monday I actually sought out the pickles. I was, in fact, shocked that I thought they were that good.
I'm the same way with olives. I used to think they were meh, but a couple of experiences with fresh olives have swayed me to the positive. I'm hoping that I'm just adding foods to the list of what I like, because if I wake up some morning and find out that I can't stand chocolate chip cookies, I may opt for a 12-gauge breakfast.
I used to be super picky, too!
I'm still a little picky, but it's more of your average person kinda picky. I can usually find something to eat regardless of the type of restaurant (used to be a problem).

Green olives. I hated them when I was younger, now I quite like them, even in a salad.
