$7.50 is a very nice price for Mafia II. It's a fun 10-12 hours of gameplay if you don't mind the driving and don't expect it to be something it's not (namely GTA with fedoras).

Today's "use a Steam function" is laughably easy.
Kind of pissed I didn't jump on Retribution, now that it has two tickets.
Hrm, nothing screaming to get, making me regret passing on Red Alert 3 now. Really surprised Worms is still that expensive. Seems like the perfect type of game to hit 2 bucks.
Looks like I'm safe today. I could swear I already have Worms Reloaded, but apparently not. Sort of surprised/disappointed to see that there's $5 DLC as well? Any word on if it's worth bothering with? And it's only 15% off while the game is 75% off? Hopefully that's a typo or yet to be updated, because I'm definitely not dropping $10 on DLC as well.
But I'm just bitching for no good reason. I have served the Newell well so far, and lo, he has deigned to give me a brief respite.
... which makes me think the DS2/Bulletstorm killing blow will arrive at any moment. To be fair, the latter I'm not even all that committed to. A little disappointed DS2 isn't on any form of sale whatsoever right now, if the base store is to be believed.

Well, the bottom has totally fallen out of my Steam because a million people jumped online in the last ten minutes. Is someone able to tell me how much Mass Effect 1 is?
edit: EliteBattleman has asked exactly the same question, and quicker to boot.

I wanted to grab Shogun 2 a little while back, but I decided I would try an earlier game in the franchise first to see if it's my thing. Is the deal today a good one to start with?
it sucked on the 360. they made several changes for the PC version that won't mean anything to you if you haven't played both versions, but fixed some things that made the game pretty hard to play. the main character is fairly dumb, the voice acting is not so great (good in some places), but it's a big game, has a very fun battle system, lots of character recruitment and a decent story. and at 10 bucks it's a steal.
So what's the deal with preordering Human Revolution and getting a discount on some huge Squaresoft pack? It just says "get an additional discount" everywhere I can see.

Someone yesterday said they did it and the SE pack dropped to $50.

Hey - thanks for the response. I'm a big fan of the JRPG and would love to have one on PC. Is it playable KBAM? Would you call the combat "action" based or turn based?

And fucking Morrowind! Be on sale, already!
I would recommend starting with medieval or rome instead of this one, but that's just my own opinion. Apparently this one was good enough to garner a goty edition

Well, that sucks, I had bought Fallout 3:GOTY for around 20 USD during the winter sale, not expecting to see it on a lower price.
... I had just installed it 2 weeks ago.
So, the only game I'm remotely interested is Amnesia, but if something I don't like in games is not being able to fight back, it appears Amnesia is a game in which I have to run scared like a wimp, am I right? Or is there some kind of way to fight the supernatural?

And lo, were so many, many pants beshitted.
IT WILL BE MINE!
Is the GOTY worth getting for the DLC? I already have base FO3 but none of the DLC for it.
Yes, if just for Broken Steel.

Broken Steel lets you keep playing after the ending, but unfortunately has a pretty "meh" extension to the main quest.
Point Lookout is really cool.
Operation Anchorage was buggy for me on the 360 so I never finished it.
Annnnd Mothership Zeta is just sort of okay.
I'd still lean towards "buy" though.

Can anyone tell me how much ME1 costs?
There are many others like it, but this one is mine.
Yea, I hope the 15% is a typo. Yikes...

I understand it's more "GAT THESE FOOLS DARKGRIME SAM!" then "Holy shit! Amon Tobin has redefined game soundtracks and yeah the game is amazing too!"

For the GOTY Edition? No it isn't. Fantastic game, and that's a shit load of DLC.
