i'm also in Europe so it's why im choosing to buy it for my kindle since I rather it not get mailed to my home in the states then me or through DPO which would take awhile.
All I know is, my Kindle is hooked up to the American network, so despite the 12th being only 11 hours away, I'll probably have to wait until tomorrow morning just because I want it digital-style.
Kind of tempted to stay up for the midnight release party that'll be in effect right after I get off work tonight. But damnit, I like my Kindle.
(Also I like paying less than half of what I would for the physical copy.)

Is Melisandre a zombie similar to Dondarrion and Catelyn, a sort of "Light side zombie"? Because she notes that she doesn't need to eat. Or could it be the glowing gem that's sustaining her?

I bought the kindle version specifically so I wouldnt have to wait for delivery on tuesday afternoon and now it's like raaaaaaaaaaayyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyynnnnn
So I timed my re-read of books 1-4 just about perfectly, as I just finished AFFC about 10 minutes ago. Course, my copy of ADWD is being shipped to me so I won't see it for 2 days, but still.....

Actually, I went and checked my email just now and it apparently shipped on Friday, so it's possible that I'll have a happy surprise on my front porch when I get home from work. Man, as if I didn't already want to leave early...
