- watched a half-hour long tvt where it was just watching byun inexorably move his tanks closer to nada
- put my liquibet on byun over nada and saw it pay off
also I strictly suggest that all textbook tvts must involve battlecruisers. lots and lots of battlecruisers.

So there's pretty much no way that Nestea and MC aren't going to just tear through the rest of the bracket. Nestea plays CoCa then Losira which should be no big deal; MC plays HongUn and then Bomber. Bomber hasn't impressed me lately and he's definitely not PuMa
Epic finals incoming? Nestea, the best player in the world, vs MC who says his PvZ is unstoppable!
I can cast or score or run the CSL lite on Friday if you need me to, I'll just be laddering otherwise
I am confused with PvZ. I win most my games because my macro is just so much better, but I have been FFE recently and I think I need to be more agressive. I went 5 gate blink stalker robo but I think that is too much tech. I pushed out with two immortals and blink stalkers, killed a hatchery and lost my whole army. He had infestors and mass roach. I pretty much lost the game there.
I have tried blink stalker pushes but those seems to auto lose to burrow roaches, so I feel that the robo is needed.
Maybe just 5 gate robo? But I feel like I need the TC for upgrades, since my 1/1 is usually done.

Zerg player here, and I'll tell you what I hate. Stargates. I hate them with a burning passion. Try using Phoenix/Voids to harass mid-game. Your main targets are queens, drones and overlords. Don't chase queens to the spores if he has them, attack where spores are not. This should prevent him from attacking for a while and allow you to get your third up. Once you have your third you have the income to support your colo/stalker/zealot/voidray deathball.

The blink stalker timing push Dhal showed me uses 7 gateways off 2 bases, and has an early robo just for a couple observers (no immortals). Optimally I believe it hits around 12:00 or a bit after against roach play. I have been using it to good effect lately.

My zombie survival life simulator They Don't Sleep is out now on Steam if you want to check it out.
Usually the robo is just for an observer or too in case of burrow, other than that heavily chronoboosted +2/blink and hitting as early as possible is key. If you hit too late you die due to him having econ to back just massing troops. If you see he takes a really late third with a big army you kinda want to tech up and grab your own third instead, the 5-6 gate blink timing is made to punish the zerg for an droning an earlyish third.
I feel like the SCReddit userbase just does all the advertising for companies and tournaments instead of the company/tournament itself. It just feels that way to me even though it isn't really the case. PA, where everything is hard to do and barely rewarding enough to make it worthwhile...but only just.
You know, the RiTB was able to promote on a $0 budget and through postings on here, tl and screddit. There's a big enough community here to get the word out.
Well robo gate failed hard, he rushed me with mutas, crushed my economy and I lost.
I was slightly out of position, tried to move back in, he killed all my probes with mutas before I could do anything, and knocked out 3 pylons. I am thinking of destroying the gateway at the main ramp so I can move.
I don't think blink stalker is a good build a t my level, too myn mass ling which wrecks that build hard. It just requires so much more skill out of protoss to make it break even, and even then you have to really do damage or you lose.
I'm pretty bad at using them, but you can pretty much have one in the air most of the time without any real issues if you really want to know what's going on all the time.

If by "break even" you mean "trade armies", I traded armies with a zerg last night at your level using this build, and I had completely awful control in a terrible position to fight his army. Of course, you don't want to trade armies with a zerg going mass lings, but like I said--awful unit control on my part and awful positioning.
I discussed this with Dhal a couple pages back if you want to read what he said. I haven't watched the replay yet but he posted one of beating mass lings with this strategy at the top of this page.
I think you are looking for a "quick fix" build to win you games. Why not find a build which is solid and that you enjoy using and get really good at all aspects of it.

I don't think there's a really easy way to tell unless you can stay in their base long enough to see if they leave drones in gas... maybe hallucinated phoenix can tell you.
I think what most Protoss do is build a good number of sentries with their stalker heavy ball so they can forcefield lings away from the stalkers...
I'm only recently realizing how much I've missed out on by not going more sentry heavy in the past... I used to build up a strong core of zealots and stalkers with only 2 or 3 sentries, now I love on the sentries like my life depends on it, because it often does...

However I don't think I can take that sort of a beating again, stim.
Might just custom game.

Of course, if they are ling heavy you hopfully scouted that and did something else :P.
