Contents of the map pack (updated: March 2nd):
Heavies have always been at the top of the stats because they're the most likely to have pet medics. A Heavy topping the scoreboard with a dedicated Medic is really the points of two people.
If they knocked, like, 50 HP off the Heavy's current 300 I would be a happy camper. Not that it's ever going to happen or anything, but a man can dream.
Attention PAers who may be interested in competitive play
Me and tinylobsta have been talking about trying to set-up some in-house 6v6 PA scrims just for fun. I want to gauge how much interest there would be in this. No prior competitive experience is required, we're willing to show the ropes to anyone who wants to give it a try. If enough people are interested we can try setting up a game soon.

i had an awesome medic moment last night, which in the grand scheme of things is probably not all that fantastical. But it did make me feel like a badass.
i took a video of it but I am probably the only one who would watch it.

Sure, why not
Only if I can be on Littleboot's team though :winky:
What undein said. 6v6 is the standard for competitive play. 9v9 is highlander style but getting 12 people together at the same time is hard enough as it is. 12v12 is what we play on the PA servers anyway, so I'm not sure why we would do that!
So I finally got sick of item envy (and relying on extreme generosity of others) and looked up the crafting recipes for the newer items from the polycount pack onward. They certainly have made it easier to craft the weapons, I think I have mats for a few of the uber update items already.

New thread smell. Need dat blue dot.
On an unrelated note, why have the games of the last couple months been overwhelmingly one sided? A few games of steam rolls are OK every once in a while, but it seems that more maps than not end in steam rolls. What happened?
The problem tends to be that there's new faces learning to play, and the regulars are all SERIOUS BUSINESS all the time, so the team with more regulars tends to win. Or whoever decides to use 3 heavies on a cart.
I don't mind new players, I mind retarded players. Going spy/sniper/engineer when we already have 4 isn't going to help. Especially if you've been playing the whole round and are at the bottom of the score charts. I've been in games with SIX ENGINEERS. THIS IS NOT A GAME WINNING STRATEGY.

My newly born niece has kept me away from TF2.
I don't mind.

(9v9 highlander is done too but i dunno
also easier to coordinate 12 people rather than 18 or 24)
of course i'm not the one proposing the idea so i don't know the true intentions
Count me in on scout.
