Yeah, pretty sure I'd use the Widow Maker over the Frontier Justice for Gunslingin.
Really? Because at fairly close range you are going to average 60 damage a shot with the shotgun. So mostly you will get back the ammo you fired if you never miss, and otherwise will likely just be draining your own metal like a boss. I think it sucks. I mean you could sit by a level 3 dispensor but then you would have infinte ammo for the regular guns anyway.
That depends on how much metal it consumes per shot, but no reloading is really awesome and I generally have a ton of metal unless players are really on the ball destroying shit.

It consumes 60 metal, that's what it says on the item description. I assume there is still a delay between shots even if there isn't a reloading animation, I guess it could be good for burst if it doesn't but that also seems to be stupid OP.

I'm assuming it has the same rate of fire as the shotgun
My guess is its stats are identical to the shotgun. You get a shotgun that fires forever but only as long as you never miss. Doesn't sound very good to me but I guess it's a reasonable tradeoff. The Short Circuit could be useful but it depends entirely on how it works.
Yeah, that shotgun sucks but it looks so damn cool. 60 metal per shot is insane. If you use 6 shots with the normal shotgun and you're still in combat, it's because you were missing/too far and you would be out of ammo and have no metal for mini-sentries. (Or a group of enemies is completely oblivious to a engineer shooting them from close range) If you're standing next to a dispenser you're going to have a sentry up which means nothing will live long enough in shotgun range to last the 6 shots from the normal gun. If you start with 200 metal and you drop a mini-sentry, you have precisely 1 shot.

Preordered. I feel a little dirty. But I was planning on buying it anyway and this way I save $15 and get some cool shit. I wish I could play spy, I love that helmet.
I think you people are underestimating how long it takes to get to full charge with the sniper rifle. If you want any kind of use out of the weapon's bonuses, you're going to have to tunnel-vision constantly, and that means you're spy-bait. Plus, every round fired (fully charged or not) produces a "THE SNIPER IS OVER HERE" bullet, as opposed to just a ricochet appearing behind you. Kindly keep your panties unbunched for the time being.
My favorite musical instrument is the air-raid siren.

I never said it was overpowered, mind
Just that it could be pretty nice
On the subject of the other weapons, the Spy revolver seems way too situational

Engi shotgun is AWESOME! tight as hell cone, 180 crit damage, 80+ damage at point blank. Metal doesn't go above 200.
The short circuit can hit multiple targets...for 5 damage on players, I made it hit 10 at once, but it destroys masses of stickies, pipes and i assume rockets. Replaces pistol.
Sniper rifle can penetrate infinitely. If you can line up enough heads, it'll shoot through them, when fully charged ofcourse, accompanied by weird noise. Max damage is 513.
Revolver i didn't try, imagine it would work similar to Frontier Justice.
Nanoclava is for spy, specs for everyone, company man for everyone, arm for heavy.
Also the tracer on the sniper I didn't notice, cause i wasn't paying attention.

unless you just really want the genuine versions i think they said these will definitely be craftable
So the Short Circuit is basically just an airblast that doesn't reflect(or push people). Pretty handy I imagine, but not revolutionary or anything.
Seems like it could make turrets temporarily immune to Kritzed soldiers, which is awesome by itself (well, awesome for the engineer. I still think, years later, than sentries are too powerful because they hard counter certain classes AND require more teamwork / skill to defeat than to protect).

Someone give me that robot arm.
It consumes 60 metal per shot
I will trade you the heavy arm for the right price, I hate heavy.
Gotta be a robot cowboy!

That's probably worth a lot if you can sell it quickly. People are dumb and impatient like that.

I'm pretty excited about that sniper rifle. It looks amazing and the effect seems cool. Will be good at certain choke points in particular.

Clockwerk, Sniper, and Storm Spirit (I think)
I had a different experience.
But that's because I suck at sniper. Yeah it does feel that extra 15% encourages body-shotting, and with too much success.
edit - only on some servers. Guess there's some bugs or something!
