Yeah. Both these pre-order items are a BIT useless to me sadly. I don't really play either engineer or sniper. Mostly cause I completely suck at sniping, and have no idea how to play Engineer really. They are really nice looking items though.

I'm not sure why everyone is so concerned with the penetration. I see that rarely being useful, how often is it that you have two people line up on exactly the same path. And the two buffs only happen on a full charge, which a good sniper rarely gets to. On the other hand, a tracer dart would get me killed more often because it makes my position a lot more obvious. I pretty much see this as a way of making bad snipers slightly better, the kind that sit in scope and go for full bodyshots.

The Machina is awesome. It has a real deep sniper sound and the charged shot is like thunder echoing through a canyon. I headshot a pyro and killed an invisible spy right in front of him. There is a special icon for the penetration kill, plus some cheering sound effect to go with it.

Edit: Found a video of the double kill in action (also note the odd tracer behavior when you shoot while getting hit)

Yes, metals can be non-tradeable if such an item was used to make it.
