I major in studio art, i intend to teach it someday.
I really like to paint, and do painty like quality in my works but i never seem to get it right outside of paint...
Gustav Klimt and Auerbach are some of my main muses.
Any type of commentary would be appreciated :>
well cheers then!
My hope is to continue this paint style when class begins again. Another semester of paint paint paint!
Also feel free to see my other 4 paintings here: http://www.jziadi.net/html/Index.html They're all rather stupidly large like the first one.
In the meantime, here are some quick silly photoshops of my pals on TF2.

You doing any life drawing or general studies in your studio class? Critique wise, theres alot of things that could be pointed at for improvement on your skills overall, so it be nice to know what you already plan to work on, if anything. You seem to be creative and playful, which is great, you just need to start backing it up with more technical skills.
I've taken 1 figure drawing course back in like ...2005. I'm probably well overdue for a revival. I've focused more so on paint than actual technical drawing technique; which hopefully shows off in my non paint stuff. My last teacher (circa 2010) pretty much told me to focus more on creative gesture over technical precise-figures since it'll never look right. Though truthfully I would like to do some more again someday.
There's noting wrong with not wanting to become the next master of figure drawing, at the same time the exercise of life drawing does more than just refine your ability to draw people. You need to flex the muscle of observation, and like a athlete is never done staying fit, you cant get enough. "It'll never look right" is simply belittling, If you set your heart to drawing precise figures, it can be done.
Keep your love of painting and creativity, any new skill you learn you can throw at it.
