Adobe Products Don't Recognize Serial Number

So i've had this porblem for almost a year now. I tried to instal teh Adobe Creative Suite onto my desktop but whenever I put in the serial number, it takes me to the next steps, and then when I try to start the product it prompts me again for a serial number. I contacted adobe and they have no idea how to fix it. My other computer runs it fine but this desktop doesn't. Anyone else have this problem or anyone have and idea on how to fix this?

    I believe you're only allowed to install it on one computer at a time.

    That's weird. Have you tried the serial on the other computer (that is, uninstalling and reinstalling with the serial)?

    Its a different one. I got one free and I bought the other.

    You could try installing the trial version - does that work?

    I tried doing that but it still didn't recognize the serial code. The trial won't as well but I haven't tried it recently.

    Is this the free serial? How did you come by it?
