I'm currently drinking this stuff:
I love rye whiskey, and the Bulleit stuff is made with 95% rye. It's very strong and sharp; the aftertaste is slightly fruity, but in a... masculine way, I suppose. I can definitely taste the cherry the tasting guides talk about.
But that's me. What's your whiskey?

buffalo trace is pretty good i had a bottle of that. i enjoy a nice jameson on ice.
can't remember the scotch that i bought for my dad but he drank it up pretty quick and then when i told him what it cost he said he would've savored it a little more if he'd known the price

I want to get into scotch but I don't have the taste for it. People talk about peaty and smoky flavors and things like that, and I just can't detect any of it.
