I love whiskey. And it seems like I am the only person in this state who likes to drink it at a bar. Except for a girl who is not 21 who claims to 'love whiskey coke' yeah right lady.

Fuck it Tef, just drink Makers Mark. It's great! I drink it all the time! And there's this Canadian Club Classic that is also great, I had a bottle of it at your place. Jim Beam small batch is great, and so is Wild Turkey 101.
But for special/fancy occasions, you can't beat Jack Daniels Single Barrel.

you're hanging out at the wrong bars
last night all we were drinking was whiskey and tequila. of course, by "we" i mean my coworkers and i. something about working at a bar means that shit i used to steer away from means i guzzle it like water.
diablo III - beardsnbeer#1508 Mechwarrior Online - Rusty Bock
or would the general amount of alcohol consumed contributed no matter the brand?
i know what you're talking about, because i've always had fun and exciting nights with jim beam, but it does make you a little gun shy when you have a specific liquor that got your engine revving

and since we're talking about drunks, i got a flashlight with a strobe function where if you get a fucked up person in the eyes with it they will vomit
kind of want to test it out, could be useful at the bar.
someone gets unruly, you give him a blast with it
all of a sudden everyone behind him starts ralphing
the bar is two inches underwater in a matter of seconds
High West Double Rye. The spiciest (and most delicious) rye whiskey I've had yet. William Larue Weller (a bourbon from Buffalo Trace's antique collection) is probably my favorite bourbon. 134 proof and goes down smooth as silk. Canadian whiskies are okay, and scotch isn't really my thing yet. I've had quite a few but I can't finish more than one drink of any of them. Slane Castle Irish Whiskey is pretty good, though it is another Cooley dist. whiskey.
I also work at a liquor store, which makes it easy and awesome to get new stuff. Unfortunately, I won't be there when the Pappy Van Winkle comes in.
Scotch always strikes me as being too expensive to "buy just to try out"
In bottle form, at least
I'm always down for trying new stuff but I am poor
Balvenie and Glenfiddich both have packs of miniature bottles that each include a 12yr, 15yr, and 21yr (I do believe both have the 21, not totally sure). They cost around 20 bucks. Other than that, most distilleries say "fuck you, spend more money" unless you order a drink at a bar.
