use it like a deep frier and cook chips and crumbed chicken and stuff

    they lied goodtrips

vista has only been out for like 2 weeks

and in my experience with it the broadband is pretty much like xp, maybe bit better but theres not exactly much room for improvement

you just turn it on and it connects to internet
and then 5 minutes later the isp drops out and you have to restart the router 12 times an hour

    the usual

do you mean that free newspaper they hand out
i dont think i have ever taken one of those cos they seem crappy
i think the closest i have come is looking over peoples shoulders on the bus at headlines
and i remember some weird old lady who is sometimes on the bus in the 4seat thing at the front talking to other people on the bus, telling them about the articles she is reading and forcing them into polite conversation about it

also a chick i am digging is one of the people who hands out those newspapers

Don't knock raw fish. If it's really fresh it's divine. Raw sockeye salmon is delicious as is raw tuna. Although raw fish isn't more "genuine" than cooked sushi like octopus, shrimp, or omelette nigiri for instance. Those are all traditional nigiri sushi and are all cooked.

My main point though is that raw fish can be fucking heaven if it's good quality.

Sushi is very simply the greatest food ever.

Though, if we're talking about weird food combinations, am I the only one who dips my Wendy's fries in the Frosty (chocolate, no crap added)?

I do enjoy sushi, but my enjoyment is often tempered by wondering how hot today has been and how efficient the restaurant's refridgerators are.

No, I and all my friends pretty much did the same thing growing up. I've always wondered if that was a behavior that was just so common in certain areas that it was essentially tought to other kids or if Frosties are just somehow ideal for fry dipping compared to other chocolate shakes.

I've gotta think that Frosties are just ideal for fry dipping. It's not like I've ever sat down in a McDonald's and started dunking my fries in those abominations they call shakes.

It would be interesting to see if it started as a regional thing that was taught to fellow kids from the "outside", or if it's just something akin to genetic memory.

"Stick the fries in the frosty, it's good. I swear." Well, okay voice in my head. If you say so.

But there's a local burger chain called Dick's that has really good shakes and I don't dip my fries in them nor have I seen other people do so, although the fries are quite different from Wendy's fries. Maybe that's the key, Wendy's fries are good for dipping in a chocolate shake where other fries generally aren't.

An interesting theory. The fries is what makes it dippable and not the shake.

What's needed here is science. An experiment and testing is obviously called for.

I have eaten a lot of sushi, and a lot of fish in general, and eel and salmon look nothing alike.

But I thought it was salmon, too.

I guess it just looks really large because it's so close up or something. Even so, why would cooked salmon like that be on steamed rice like sushi? I have never seen that before. Weird.

EDIT: I am not such a fan of sea urchin or uni or whatever we're calling it. It's OK, but it's also kinda weird-tasting in a not-so-great way. To me. Now raw shrimp and scallops, that's interesting in a good way.

The unagi looked like a big slab of salmon to me. I should have realised the rice grains were too large. I love unagi but people, you should only get unagi to order. If you go to a kaiten sushi restaurant (with the conveyor belt, they can be ok) then the unagi isn't hot and tender which is what makes it so fucking delicious.

Yeah, I love uni also. As long as it's really fresh, quality uni it's fucking scrumptious but those of you who are interested in trying it, make sure you go to a quality restaurant because low quality uni is very bad tasting. It's like night and day.
