That said, my first con ever was a little over six weeks ago and I'm a grown-ass man, but holy cow ... You get swept away.
This "Wait Until The Last Day" advice is starting to become obsolete though. I waited until Sunday to buy stuff at AX and the prices were pretty much the same. With the economy as is, there's less and less reason to wait until the last day to buy at the convention.
In fact, scarcity hits even harder, as the first day I saw at least 5 booths with a certain figure for $35, and on the last day I only found 1 booth with that very same figure marked up to$65, and another figure I saw on day 1 went from $60 to $90 on the last day.
On the plus side, that hat will really help with her cold ears.

Never purchase until the last day unless it's some limited edition thing you will die without, because that may sell out. If you wait, you will get their merchandise and their soul for at least 50% off.
