Sometime last night my dad had a bit too much to drink at some restraunt, decided that driving wasn't the best option, and we drove him home before doubling back and picking up his car at the restraunt parking lot. So i'm following my mom home in her car with me driving the truck when all of the sudden a cop pulls me over doing twenty-three in a twenty zone. This area is notorious for having the worst police squad on the force; all these people do is write tickets off at the beginning and end of the month to raise some money for the district, instead of doing their actual job. I can't tell you the number of times I and many others have tried to report something serious occuring in the area where we're literally banging down the door only to see them not even lift a finger to answer the call for help. "Okay" I tell myself, "It's just a traffic ticket, no big deal. I'll just take the ticket and be on my way."

This officer takes ten minutes just to get out of the fucking car before waddling over to my window to inform me that I was doing twenty-three in a twenty zone, then performs the standard procedure of taking my license and registration. Normally that's all an officer needs to do, right?

Nope.

This guy calls two other cars to the scene for no good goddamn reason other than to make the report sound good, spends another thirty minutes standing around talking to his buddies before handing me a ticket for $250 and puts in a request for me to take some defensive driving. Seriously guys; what the fuck.

But that's not all; one of the officers sees my mom standing by a tree surveying the scene and completely explodes on her, telling her that she's "conflicting with the investigation" or some bullshit, despite the fact that she hasn't moved an inch from the very spot from the start. She didn't mess around however; asked for the officer's name so she could report his ass, but probably gave her a fake one so his badge wasn't in jeporady.

I could post more stories, like the time a good friend of mine got a ticket for doing 32 in a thirty zone going downhill, but i'm confident that the community has some far worse stories to tell. Basically post some asshole cop stories here so I don't feel like the only schmuck who got screwed over.

Some cops in a small town once arrested (without charging them) a bunch of my buddies and fingered their buttholes for drugs.

Parents got mad and then they...OH my god...transferred them to another town and a week off with pay.

    So called facts are fraud
They want us to allege and pledge
And bow down to their God
Lost the culture, the culture lost
Spun our minds and through time
    Ignorance has taken over
Yo, we gotta take the power back!
    Bam! Here's the plan
    Motherfuck Uncle Sam
Step back, I know who I am
Raise up your ear, I'll drop the style and clear
It's the beats and the lyrics they fear
    The rage is relentless
We need a movement with a quickness
You are the witness of change
    And to counteract
We gotta take the power back

This other time these cops wanted to arrest these kids for beer so my female friend claimed it was all hers. They got real mad and threw her in the cop car. Then this cop driving her around drives around for two fucking hours without saying a word to her, late at night. She kept asking him "where are you taking me? Are you charging me?" He just kept driving around in silence, hitting the odd ring-road for good measure.

They threw her in a cell and then kept talking about her right around the corner about how hot she was. She sat there and then they came in and strip searched her. They said "Oh, you have nipple rings, we'll have to take those." She said no fucking way. They went around the corner again and talked about how they'd get the female secretary to do it and they'd watch on the camera. Then the girl came in and took them off my friend and the cops were all "holy shit, did you see the body on her." and they took turns staring into the cell.

She was awake all night. IN the morning they let her go without any charges.

I kept telling her to do something about it but she was too drunk to remember any of the cops names.

I was walking back to my car to find a warden in the process of writing a parking ticket.

You see over here, and especially in London, they now have to photograph your car otherwise the ticket is void. So the general consensus is no matter how far into the process he is you get in and drive off, and get no ticket.

I did that and this whiny little fucker was standing infront of my car blocking it. I told him to move, he didnt. So I turned the ignition and edged forwards. He fucking yelped it was hilarious, and moved out of the way. I drove off, never got a ticket for it.

I get so many tickets. But as anyone who lives in London will tell you, its basically just another tax you have to pay for living here. You get used to it. Sometimes parking illegally is unavoidable and most of the time the place where you park is arbitrarily designated illegal parking for no reason other than to gain ticket money for the council.

I was driving down the street once. I was minding my own business, not paying any particular attention to my rear view mirror (It was midnight on a weekday) when I noticed a cop behind me who has on his little, single red light. I didn't know if I was being pulled over or what, so I pulled over regardless. Long story short, he had been behind me a good 30 seconds before I noticed, apparently, and that was just cause to search my car for drugs. He thought that in the time it took for my to notice and pull over, I was hiding my invisible stash of weed. He threatened to have his dog "tear apart my car" while he had grabbed my arms and hiked them up on my back.

This cop was a real dickweed though. I had pencils in my pocket when he searched me and asked me why they were there. I stood there for a while, completely dumbfounded by his dumbassery. "I was in school?" I replied. He then sarcastically checks his watch. He also found a broken drum stick from a show I went to. He thought I was conspiring to use it as a stabbing tool.

So my family was going to florida a couple years back, we couldn't find my dad's passport, and called the border ahead of time, she said we cross over with some other documents. So we get those documents, and get down there, border guard keeps us for about an hour, then sends us home ("deporting" us) so we go back, and tear the house apart and find his passport.

Fast forward a couple months. My dad needs to go to NY on business, so he goes to fly in, but no. Before they'll let him board they take him into a little room and interrogate him, doing the whole "good cop bad cop" thing for 3 hours and make him miss his flight.

Like WTF, your country's border guards fuck up in giving us bad information, then waste a shit ton of our time in the first place, then treat my dad like they've just found bombs strapped to his fucking chest. All over a fucking passport.

Cops in London, ON are getting those too. We also have a cop that poses as a street racer in this suped up custom acura and tries to get people to race him. As well, all our cruisers are to carry some form of fully automatic do to them being overpowered in a gunfight in a robbery a little while ago.

I dunno, Portland has its share of stupid cops. Like the male officers harrassing a female officer going through a sex change.

Or the SWAT officers that take hazing a bit too far.

And lets not forget our previous Chief of Police, who was fired for sexually harassing a secretary.

Or 20 or 30 years ago when the police kept an active "intelligence gathering" division that tracked politically active citizens.

One time, I was at a party that got broken up by the cops.

There was this female cop telling everyone she had to leave. She was hot.

She stood by the door, and apologized to everyone as they were leaving. She didn't seem like she wanted to break it up, since it wasn't that loud. I'm guessing that some crotchety old neighbor called.
