The humble twitter says "we're working on adding it to Steam and Desura" so basically wait a few days.
Will it be auto added or do you have to re-enter the code?
I imagine auto-added as some games that were added to Steam later in the original bundles just auto registered, but couldn't say for certain until they give word.

When Samorost was added to one of the Humbe Bundles it was auto-added to Steam.

Yes, that happened with Revenge of the Titans, when it was part of the HB2, it was still on development, and when it was released on Steam, it was added to my account.
Also I just checked and I have Steel Storm on my Steam Account.
God dammit. I just downloaded it normally, too. Time to download it again on Steam...

Fuck yes. I almost grabbed Steel Storm during the Summer Steam Sale. I've played the nice and meaty demo a bit and I've been planning on getting the full game.
I just got it and played VVVVVV for the first time to see what all the fuss was about...
WOW! Fuck that game! That is the epitome of something obviously not for me. I ragequit after about two minutes. I'm get there are those who find platforming some kind of zen art, but wow... that was about the most unenjoyable experience I think I've ever had.
Good news for those who missed Humble Bundle #2 - pay more than the average for #3 and you get #2. Just like that. Boom.
I just did just that. On the one hand, it felt good giving almost twice what most PC buyers gave. On the other, getting that many games for $5 feels almost like stealing.
To compensate for this feeling, I favored the charities with my donation.
Aw man, did I miss out on getting HB 2 included? I bought HB 3 a few days ago for 10 bucks but didn't see anything about the second one. I'd buy another copy but I just bought Machinarium seperately and I don't have 5 bucks left in my account.

Go check your download page. You should have a Steam key for HB 2 if you bought HB 3 for ten bucks a few days ago.

EVERYONE who bought the bundle before #2 was added gets it for free, even if you only paid one penny. It's just people who buy it from now on that have to pay above the average to get it.

I have four games on Steam that aren't HIB games. I really need to get a proper gaming pc.

I was wondering that. My finances at the moment were such that I could only throw them a few bones. Good to know I'll get the rest, but man, I kind of hope I have the option to donate extra once my first paycheck finally clears.
Just bought my bundle. I missed HiB #1, but got it through HiB #2. Now I've got HiB #3 and #2 was included with it. Would it be kosher to gift the Steam key for HiB #2 to someone else since I already have it? I already had Cogs, VVVVVV, and AYIM from the Steam Indie Bundles last Christmas, but I love these bundles so I had to buy them. Steel Storm looks pretty awesome too as a bonus game.
Oh, and I opened up my HiB #2 page, and I noticed that they added (or I just didn't see it before) that you can pick up Braid and World of Goo from OnLive too! I don't use OnLive for anything, but this is certainly pretty awesome they have it available there. And I had never heard of Desura before now. Is it good? Should I have it installed as well as Steam?

I don't think that anyone would hold it against you for sharing the love, so to speak. Maybe you can do like the folks on the steam thread and have a mini-contest of some sort!
I would say if you gift out Humble Bundles, wait until the sale is actually over, but that's just me.
Good point. People can easily pick it up for ~$5 with HIB#3 right now, so when it's all said and done, can share the joy. Maybe I'll wait until Christmas and all the crazy gifting starts again. :P
Hmm. I paid less than the average, but I also only got about an hour of play out of the humble bundle before I felt that I was finished with it. I guess this is alright, because they at least got some money from me, and I got to try something? AYIM is probably the only of the games I'll open back up.
I'm so confused how they can do this, but very happy. The only HIB I missed was two but I got it this time. It was funny though because I was about to Machinarium when it was on Steam's Daily Deals but I thankfully checked my e-mail first. It seems like every day I wake up, check my e-mail and add to my backlog of games due to them adding. I am about to gift a few copies to my friends just because it's such an awesome deal.

The penny-donators should have games taken away.
Ingrates!

I tried to do like 10 bucks, and put .10 instead, and it basically says "hey you have no soul" and you have to put a captcha in to prove that you arent a soulless robot.
I'm not particularly interested in any of the games that I don't all ready own, and will in all likelihood never actually play any of the others. Though I did put in about 5 minutes on Revenge of the Titans before getting frustrated and quitting.
But I like what they're doing! So they can have my dollar.

The problem with that, with low enough money contributed, it will COST them money to give you the bundle.
You're not doing a damn thing for them by doing that. You'd be better off just donating a buck directly to Child's Play.

A dollar is well over the threshold of where there is a net return on a credit card or paypal transaction. If they are somehow so poorly run that each transaction costs more than a dollar to process, they should impose a floor on donations.

On the flip side. Loving me some Crayon Physics.

Yeah. "Normally I HATE this type of game, and I'll never play it but who can resist at 75% off?"

Not that you should donate only a dollar.

And a message: It appears that you have no heart! Please prove that you are really human.
