I regret my lack of focus to concentrate on drawing practice at any time. I'd been meaning to draw a Totoro since page 72 and now it looks like that's not going to be getting done.
How long until the next thread? Is it two months or three months?
Should be enough time for me to practice drawing forumers, so I may actually contribute something to the next thread and not have it be unrecognizably bad.

originally it was because the forum software we used before the last one had a hard time archiving 2,500 posts. Then with the last software update it just was more tradition and because 400 page threads are big and dumb and impossible to navigate
I'm not kidding either, that is literally the best thing I've ever done. I never would have made it if it weren't for this thread giving me motivation, and Ronnie giving me advice on which app to use. The most I've even done before this is some photoshop trickery, layering and masking, etc, definitely nothing to be proud of. I'm really really really chuffed.
Now the only thing is I have to finish it. I've got about 30 unfinished songs on my PC, I don't want this picture to join them.
Of course, I'll probably look back in a few months/years and cringe at all the obvious flaws in it. Hopefully.

We could always ask to have the Doodle Thread excluded from the Megathread rule, though I wouldn't make any bets as to how that would turn out.

Hey, so does this thread have a post limit? Is that why we're all anxious about when the next doodle thread is?
Why don't we just go back and edit old posts to add new doodles when the thread gets locked.
Also editing posts won't bump the thread and it would be hard to find posts with new content and you can't edit posts in a locked thread anyway.
Edit: Damnit, Fuzz, now I look slow and useless.
