I've been playing Everquest 2 off and on since release day, about 3 years now. I play on the Guk server and was one of the founding members of the 'keepers of the realm' raiding guild(about 2 months after I started playing). I gave up my leadership role a loooooong time ago, but I still play a decent amount.
Well, here's my characters:
This was my main back when I first started. She's a 70 templar, pretty decked out gear-wise. This character bores the living shit out of me these days. I played her so long that there's almost no thought involved, even in tougher raids. I'd trade her for a defiler or fury in a second.
70 monk, my 'fuck you templars' alt that became my main. This character is only a few quests and lucky raid drops away from being a serious ass-kicker. Sadly, monks don't get much credit in eq2. Can't really take her on raids except for old and easy ones simply because of AOE damage and they always want my templar first. Fun character... too bad they dont get taken seriously.
My 33 wizard. This character rules. I can't wait till she's 70 and nuking the shit out of everything. Trying to level her ASAP.
I have a few other random characters between lvl 10 and 40, but these are the ones that still see some use. Most of my other characters are simply mules or name-holders at this point. My ratonga coercer is kind of cool... but freeport just bugs me for some reason.
GoodCitizen on
Benjamin Franklin used foil covered window glass to create a capacitor. He then attempted to kill a turkey with the stored charge. Instead, he knocked himself out. Franklin later wrote, "I tried to kill a turkey but nearly succeeded in killing a goose."
Those three appear to be the same exact character with different clothes.
Some people dig that. Can't deny that punky red-haired half-elves aren't attractive, can you? :P
The first one is actually a High elf with a Half-elf illusion item. I started using it when I was sick of the way my High elf looked(The hair seemed too much like plastic). I like to think of all my characters as the same character but switched to a different job. I like the idea of one character with the ability to switch classes, like in FFXI or an SRPG game, so thats the way i imagine it.
I do have a couple ratongas and a barbarian alt when I feel like something different, but they rarely come out these days.

Game looks interesting, is it an open beta?
I'm having trouble finding definitive information on its release status and pricing/subscription schedule.
Is this free and available to US players?

Ahh thanks - I hadn't considered it would be under a different name for the english client.
It's Sword of the New World: Granado Espada, actually. Subtitles are cruise control for cool.
There are two 'versions'. Sword of the New World and Granado Espada. I'm playing the latter (which is currently in open beta but about to leave it in a few days but since I got past level 20 I get 90 days free) because that's the one everyone else on SA was playing.

So I take it that the latter would be more populated, then?
Well enough people have done posts where they put all their characters from City of Heroes, so I will too. Keep in mind half of these guys were probably deleted.
Damn, it's amazing that FFXI still kinda holds up graphics-wise. I suppose that's the art direction more than anything, though.
I have all the graphics settings set beyond what they're technically supposed to be, but I'm glad it looks so good considering it was released six years ago on the PS2.
Lower settings makes it look like you're playing on an SNES, though.
On a whim, just logged back in on my old, non-Oceanic, pre-TBC server. Level 60, still wearing 8/8 Judgement, carrying such goodies as Bloodcaller, Red Dragonscale Protector, Hide of the Wild, Hammer of Ji'zhi, and all my old Bloodsail Admiral gear (Show Helm turned off, though, since although the hat does provide a bird noncombat pet, it does mess up my hair something unsightly)...
Back when I was specced Holy and I STILL have a mashable "Decursive" macro button on my hotbar, for mashing at Chromaggus fights.
I'm working on another. A few nights of not being able to get people in for enough Kara, MH in the hospital, so I was a bit bored and decided, "Hmm, what to do...that's it! Another paladin!" Because Draenei are cool too. Think maybe I'll take this one Ret and time it to see if 2.3 can come out and buff the class enough for it to be fashionable.

Edit: Bit caught my typo. D'oh! Damn you mixed-up idioms!
> turn on light
Good start to the day. Pity it's going to be the worst one of your life. The light is now on.
The EQ2 engine makes for some rather pretty landscapes, but good lord is the character art bad.
[Edit] - I suppose I should stop commenting on others' stuff without posting my own. Without further ado:
Space Hunter, my original attempt at a Samus clone for the ill-fated videogame-themed supergroup:
Jim Reaper, CPA:
The one and only surviving shot of my WoW main, Hamix, and his epic mount:
My CoV main, Vespa Rossa, before actual insect wings were added to the game:
And of course, Millard Killmore.

A rampaging atomic zombie! I laughed for at least a minute.

beak like mouth, why are gnomes so weird?
Because.. They're Gnomes..
Fixed.
Not pictured: extra set of ears for backup purposes, long lashing tail, and retractable leg so's he can leap up behind you better.
Also, I was fine being in ancient, underwater ruins until I saw the giant fish and octopii...
We really ought to invest in more magical, invisible floors so everyone's footprints look like polygons.
also, nice name change Wigg
XBL
But noooo it came up tails.
Now I keep looking at last post going "Who the fuck is Loli--oh wait."
