To be fair,t here is a sex angle hinted at no so coyly in Eclipse Phase, that i'm not entirely sure i'm okay with being okay with. it weirds me out that i'm not weirded out by it.

There's a sex angle in pretty much every bit of Transhuman fiction.
It's what happens when you start dealing with the notion that you could swap bodies and engineer new lifeforms for specific purposes, especially when the people dealing with them are, by and large, giant nerds.
I suppose I can consider it a comfort that when presented with a world of boundless sexuality limited only by one's own creativity all I want to do is live inside a big stompy robot
you can be an octopus that can change sex at will. the implications are damning.
oh hey and after we run a game with this system why don't we play some fatal and tear out our teeth and eyeballs while we're at it
It's nothing as bad as that.
It's more that they're trying to really imply the weird freedoms that the setting has, and, well, occasionally that touches on sex. 'Cause, y'know, the authors are human and nerds.
I think I've got the Eclipse Phase pdf somewhere on this computer, downloaded it when it first came out, read it through, then promptly forgot about it.
If you find you need a 'nother dude for whatever reason I'm pretty sure I can brush up on the rules quick as anything. Fill whatever party slot isn't already filled by insane battle robots or insane AIs.

I don't think you understand the level of devastation it can reign down. you got a machine gun with an extended clip and hollow point bullets. nothing with light armour will survive. you got a machine gun same deal but armour piecing armour. heavy armoured guys go down like a bitch. then two plasma rifles. which can out right kill people in one shot. like, desolve the body in plasma kill people. and you have two of them. plus it's probably goign to be strogner then any human so you can throw stuff around instead of stomping. i could help you make a stompy character, but it will pale int he face of the reaper.

i suggest grabbing the newer pdf. they updated some stuff.
I appreciate the sentiment melding but I'm just kinda shootin' the shit here and am sufficiently repulsed by the setting and mechanics that I ain't ever gonna get into eclipse phase
(PS too many limbs drastically reduces stompiness as each additional limb bears progressively less weight I am an expert at pretending to be stompy robots I know this stuff)

40k is just really bloody, angry masturbation.
because I enjoy 40k
and the thought of sexual gratification to me is gross and debasing

I'm only 6' 1"
Just because you can do weird deviant thigns with it doesn't mean it's also racist.
it's not like they have a stat that deals with dick size.
Four times i typed duck size.
I was tempted to leave it.

this is nice
they bring you down huh
I mean, that's a great murderbot, but it lacks, the proper tools for crushing skulls under heels.
most people are in there more than once
yeah, Dich's getting soft in old age
I am thinking two plasma rifles and two machine guns. 30 grand on weapons, but you could kill the world.
The hard part is obtaining the murderbot.
you might as well be playing something wussy like a helicopter
this is stompy
this is stompy
that spherical robot above might be able to move upon limbs, but it is decidedly not stompy
I'm gonna go play my Space Marine demo again, look at some stompy stuff for reference.
