I have always wondered that. I would never wear one of those devices, I'd be too terrified the last anyone would see of me is my screaming head falling through the floor on my way to the planets core.

There was a Batman Beyond episode with that.

Done with season 1! Man does it end on a high note. Stargate is so much better when it goes full serialized. It takes them until season 3-4 to finally realize that.

There are some truly terrifying endings to many episodes of that show when you stop to think about them.

For the phaseshifting guy, it's just a matter of figuring out what horrible death he suffers eventually. Like how out-of-phase is he? Can he still be affected by heat? If so, then he eventually boils/burns to death as he reaches the Earth's depths filled with magma. If not, then perhaps he will be crushed to death by gravity as he gets closer to the core. Or perhaps his phase shifting is so complete that he just falls to the center of the earth, untouched, but then he starves to death. Or maybe he suffocates because he is completely shifted out that he can't touch any matter at all, so he can't breathe in air.

If he shifted so out of phase that gravity couldn't affect him, he wouldn't have fallen. He'd have just started floating.

Man this is really annoying. I'm watching Season 4 episode 5, Divide and Conquer
The people who are under mind control.. the zatarks. They go crash and shoot a lot of people. then they are like "nooo don't let me kill myself" and they spend quite a bit of time struggling with their hands and NEITHER TIME did anybody go in and try to wrestle the gun away from them. Now I realize that is not a thing you would want to do but this is tv and they do crazier stuff all the damn time

also fuuuck just bone her this is awful. That tokra lady is super hot

Just watched one of the best stargate episodes last night. Heroes part one and two, it's one of the rare occasions where they let some of the cast members really stretch their acting muscles.

Thinking back at the series, I'm honestly surprised
Bra'tac survived the entire run of the show. The fatherfigure/mentor type guy to the big strong warrior is almost always gonna die in stuff like this.

Man I didn't remember the Tok'ra planet sets looking so damn cheap.

Oh well, still great episodes! (I'm halfway through season 2, in fact I'm past The Tok'ra Part 1 and tonight I'm watching The Tok'ra Part 2). The filler episodes are already getting more scarce, which is good.

Also holy shit Jacob Carter was a dick. Yeah yeah cancer, but still man.

The best thing about Ba'al is that he was the only Goa'uld to drop the god act and start acting smart. That also made him hilarious because all of a sudden he was totally aware of all the tropes.

This is the only pic I could find on short notice, it's hard to see, but his symbol (the one his Jaffa wear on their foreheads) is on the shirt where the alligator or polo guy would be.

You know is it ever clear at what point the REAL ba'al died? It could have been at any point really.

IIRC Baal-prime made his tracking device removable so that he could hide himself when he needed to without the clones knowing. In Continuum it's mentioned that it's the last Baal, and I think they also mention that it's the real one.

Really I thought they said that was a clone? Wasn't the real Ba'al the one who tried to put himself in Adrias body?

My favourite Atlantis episodes are when they
take Atlantis and Sheppard just spends a day running around ruining their shit.

Edit: spoilered in case anyone who's chewing through SG-1 hasn't seen Atlantis yet.

I kind of liked that part about sheppard but good lord I kept getting so mad at the Genii being wankers for no reason.

    Or dumb reasons anyway.

Yeah, The Storm and The Eye. That was basically Die Hard... IN SPACE! That's a good thing.

Also hey season 3 of SG-1 technically now. So glad Hathor is dead.
