Honestly, leblanc is such a silly champ in some matchups, it's kind of absurd. I had the entire enemy team rotate through mid to try and take me on, I sent them all back to base with one q+r combo. she's just so much fun to play.
also, does no one play new champs unless they have boobs? haven't even seen scorpion guy today. same with monkey king. same happened with yorick.

Sometimes it feels kind of wrong to win a 5v4 your team had absolutely no business winning. Went up against a Pants in mid against my Ashe. He played surprisingly passive, though I had to basically do the same since I knew one aegis and I was probably done. If you had to pick a comp for a 4v5 though, that team had it. A new and improved pants, nunu, maoki, and pirate. They shit all over us up until about the point where they had to push inhib towers, where we had the numbers advantage and a ridiculous akali. And we controlled baron, so as time added up, we came back.
Still not sure about Pants, he seemed to be putting out a shitload of damage, but he didn't go on one of those full bore snowball of death games like he used to be able to do.
I like Jungle Nasus but I feel I need to rock an attack speed page for him. I guess I should re-create my old Udyr atk spd rune page. Maybe I'll wait to see what Stonewall does.
Speaking of which, Nasus teleport glitch (he ported onto a Janna whirlwind):
You're leasing 200 HP for 35 gold. I'd rather have my gold go towards permanent sustainability, rather than flushing it away on potions that will be burned right through if I'm not on my game and/or if I have some brutal lane competition like AP Alistar, Critplank or the new Pantheon. Not to mention that I'm not the best at last hitting, which mean the sustainability granted by the potions sometimes results in net gold loss anyway.
I'm not telling you to restrict your first purchase to boots+3pots. You can buy whatever you want as your first item and should cater to your lane opponent. Cloth armor against high AD champs like Urgot, Null-Magic Mantle against nukers, boots against skill-shots, all valid.
What I'm telling you is that you should try to maximize your trips to the fountain by filling up your item slots with something that will give you an advantage when you get back into your lane. Wards, health pots or even elixirs are worth the cost, if you are able to make use of that advantage. It just happens that wards and health pots are the most cost efficient items in the game and are especially useful early to mid game.
If you haven't figured it out, winning in League of Legends relies heavily on the concept of snowballing. If you lost your lane (i.e. die or had to go back to the fountain while your opponent is still farming) before you can buy your first big item, you should be buying something that allows you to either kill your opponent or outlast him in the lane. If not, you'd still be at the same disadvantage as you were when you left your lane and you will continue to lose while your opponent continues to get ahead because essentially nothing about the match up has changed.
Health potions in particular either help you reset your lane match up or gain an advantage. Every. Single. Advantage. you can get over your opponent early snowballs to a huge advantage later in the game. If you choose to forfeit health potions and/or wards as a simple, minimal cost/risk, great early game advantage, you are basically handicapping yourself for late game moreso than not spending a measly 35g and I am really not surprised if you feel that it is hard to win games at all.
On top of that, regen is typically a bad stat late game as you may or may not know. Basically there is a ton of burst in late game because of team fights and battles rarely last long enough for regen to take effect. So regen is best early game. However, it is very expensive (435g for 15 hp/5s) because Riot doesn't like passive, sustain lanes that last forever with the exception of health potions because they are temporary and you can only have a limited number.
I don't underestimate the value of Pots. I understand that they are a good item to start with. I dislike them, personally.
Sigh. First it was 'buying Tier 1 runes when you're level 20 is bad', now this -_-;; But its cool, everyone has opinions and I understand that some like playing on hard mode. Carry on good sir.
Jungle Nasus is fast. Always has been. His ganking potential has gotten waaaay better. But the drawback is piddly Q farm. Unless you're planning on building pure tank out of the jungle, there's no real reason to do it. But simply having that as a backup "uh oh we need a jungler AND a tank" is always nice to have.

I think people have become suspicious of new champs on release what with the horribleness of the last couple on launch
Is Jannas default skin any different in game or is it just the art?
They updated Janna's ingame model last patch, along with Kayle's and Tryn's
Damn, wish I realized this before. Played Janna again for the first time in a month or so. I like the new skin a lot better. Which is good because as a champ I love Janna, but her art style always put me off.
Man, this is a completely different game when you play with an A team. Played monkey guy with some RL friends who are fuck awesome, went bot, me/soraka vs scorpion/janna. completely dominated, it was hard to watch. Double shields couldn't save them. Hell, every lane was dominated. MK is kinda fun I have to admit.

Uuuuugh just had a terrible AP Alistar on my team. He had a deathfire, Sheen, Tear, and some other junk. Dude apparently didn't realize how casters work though, since he would try to fight them head on like a tank and melt in seconds.
New Pantheon seems kinda... really good? His HSS was doing stupid damage to me at like level 4 or 5, and now that its shorter he can hit you with the full duration. On the upside Skarner is super fun! I got as far as Philo > Triforce > Sunfire last game, and after that I couldn't decide if I wanted to get Gunblade or Rageblade... Lukily the game ended before I had to make the decision!

Pants is pretty ridiculous right now.
I bought a meki and couldn't burn all my mana fast enough spamming spear every cooldown. Shutdown the enemy, jumped into lanes before they could escape, etc.
Best part was when we had a rolling teamfight going on for a while, then went back to our lanes. Brand comes into lane with two chain vests. I come in with a brutalizer and last whisper. Sent him right back to base in a bodybag.
For those with experience with previous patch-days... About how long does it take before they re-enable creating a custom game with just yourself an 9 bots? Someone in the PA chatroom said it's not something permanently removed, that they just do this to reduce server load after patches.
I really want to try out some new champs without actually having other people depending on me to not suck.

Sometimes it's just 6-8 hours, sometimes it's as long as a week, it really depends on server load.
Skarner wasn't as anticipated as Leona or Wukong, so I imagine it will just be a day or two.

We do not have a Caitlyn skin that involves a proton pack and ghost traps.
Dammit Riot why don't we have this???

According to my buddy who played with us, IP is dependent on time spent in the game.

Stealth Tough AD Sona was so fun when she first came out, but the repeated nerfs made her kinda meh for awhile. Is she any good right now?
also I guess my initial guess that Pants would be ridic after this patch was totally founded?
