Also, played the Space Marine demo today, and the only thing keeping me from buying it is the combination of price tag and being addicted to Deus Ex.

This is going to be one game I'll be happy to skip the demo for and buy blind - Relics never disappointed me with a game, and I don't want to have the usual thing happen - reach the demo level, feel exhausted from playing it a lot, and stop playing.

The rumor is open beta on the 11th for BF3, but I haven't seen that confirmed.

So this service alert that's been up for about 24 hours now on support.xbox.com about connectivity issues between XBL and East Coast-based ISPs are really making me regret that I went with a 360 preorder. :?

Also, the last thing I watched on netflix via my 360 was the first of a two part X Files episode, and I don't want to go another day without catching part 2.

Has there been any news about the availability of the different chapter skins going forward after release? I really want the skins offered by the GameStop preorder bonus, but....GameStop, you know? I've heard of so many bad interactions with them that I almost don't want to risk it.

It's gonna be midnight PST according to steam. 3 days and 4 hours from now the game launches. Release is up to the publisher.

ALSO the Co-op launch is around october 5th for those wondering about dates.

Single player doesn't have an armor painter afaik, but MP is gonna be customized Marine Ballers all day every day.

You unlock more customizer options as you level up. There are a large variety of options for both loyalist and chaos.

Hmm, looking at the achievements for this game seems to indicate that the hardest mode is "hard".

There's tons of wiki, either wikipedia or 40k focused wikia, that will bring you up to score on the backstory, it just wont have all the fun fluffy writing dressing it up.
