Chaos Space Marines.
Effectively a normal space marine on acid/steroids. Sometimes with added wurbely bits.
You forgot the part where the space marine gets tossed in the engine room of the Event Horizon and spends 10,000 years in hell worshiping dark gods.
It's kind of their thing.
I was trying not to get complicated for the new guy. I figured sufficiently complicated chemical supplements would let him imagine all the relevant behaviors anyway. Chaos is a hell of a drug.

I'll be honest I'm buying this for the thunder hammer. Before I saw that trailer I was thinking "its pretty good but I can wait" and then I saw that trailer and was all "AW HELL NO SON YOU BUY THIS SHIT NAOW". I even spent a full day hunting down reputable websites to preorder it from cheaply to avoid the thq price gouging bullshit.

Lowered the boom on a ShopTo pre-order because I'm a sucker for art/fluff books. Also chainsword DLC.
Still gonna be a physical package with an actual DVD though. I hope I won't have to actually use it, however.
I was disappointed to find out this game has no dedicated servers on PC. But, I love WH40K so I'll most likely pick it up on steam and free Darksiders added to the deal makes it very tempting. I just hope MP will be good enough to keep the game interesting.

I'd love to see an inquisitor game where you play space detective with powers of the warp... Is that asking to much.. Maybe some leveling mechanics in there, some loot as well

I'm trying to decide whether or not I want to get the game on Steam or 360. Played the demo on both and honestly liked the controls better on 360. Though, steam is giving away a free copy of Darksiders as well as the Blood Ravens Armor with pre-order so there's that. Guess I'll have to make a decision in the next day or so.

If you happen to have a wired 360 controller then you can use it with the PC version simply by plugging it in.

Yeah, the 360 wired option is so nice for the rare PC game that comes along these days that's better with a controller (though Darksiders and the Assassin's Creed games are the only ones i've played where that's true on).
Ever since I built my first gaming PC I've always purchased a PC version when available at launch, and so when i try to play on controller I feel so hamstrung, especially in games that require aiming... there's just no going back to analog stick aiming once you're used to a mouse.

I've used the 360 controller with Alice:MR and Deus Ex:HR and it worked great with both. My only worry with using it with Space Marine is boning myself in multiplayer.
Toys R Us is giving out a $15 giftcard if you buy Space Marine on 9/6. I already put $5 down at Best Buy but $15 is a better deal than a couple of Chaos Marine skins, in my mind.
That said, I do have the $5 pre-order down already... anyone have experience with getting refunds on those?

They will likely try their hardest to get you to pre-order something else with it as well.

Yeah. Couldn't hurt to ask. If they say no then you ask for your refund and goto Toys R Us. I've had good luck with everything except the 3DS trade in offer from Gamestop with them. They'll do just about anything except Trade in offers and K-Marts gamer coupon thingie. Helps when you want to earn all those reward points for 5 dollar coupons. Between membership + Gamer Zone those coupons rack up fast.

Most people I know are getting it on PC, but I'd say it's just up to what you personally want to do or what your friends or the people you play with will be getting.
