You know, I've beaten ME1 three times, and I anticipate more in the future, but there are some decisions I can just never bring myself to make. Like killing the rachni - it's bound to be more interesting to have them on my side in 3 than to have them dead. Anyone else have that problem?
Me too. And I've never had to kill Wrex. He was way too much fun when you're talking to the Terra Firma guy. Don't think I've ever killed Ashley as well.

Of course not.
Killing Wrex is wrong.
And, while Ash is a fine character, killing her would be alright...
One of these days I should really explore his dialog tree (as maleshep, since he assumes Femshep wants him if they exchange more than three words) and see if he has anything interesting to talk about other than Jump Zero.

don't give me that "well sometimes I charge and sometimes I shoot at range"
you should be charging all the time, and the best weapon for charge is the krogun
The Krogan kind of sucks ass and has horrific hit detection for its long reload time. I found the geth plasma shotgun or the other rapid firing shotgun to be far superior to it. I can see the point of the claymore, but I can't see it's actual useful application because it's *so* bad.
So what you're saying is the krogun is great as long as you don't miss

Meh. I actually found the GPS to kind of suck for Vanguarding once you get the hang of it. It's too slow.
The rapid fire gun is good, but doesn't fit my style.
I prefer the Claymore or Evisercator because they drop targets the fastest once you get used to them. And not to mention you can do the reload trick which makes it pretty efficient.

the hit detection is fine
you're having trouble because your target is strafing
here's what you do
you hit the fire button mid-charge
no escape

Just a quick question, are the comics worth reading? How about the books? I have read Revelation just wondering about the others.

I found the comics to be a bit cheesy. I wouldn't say they're worth the time.
Edit: And having just read a couple of the comics that Penny-Arcade did for Dragon Age, I find myself wishing that they'd been commissioned to do comics for ME, as well, instead of whoever they got to do it.

Can I just say that Ashley actually looks pretty goddamn good in the preliminary screens, much more attractive. Depending on the degree to which ME2 love interests get involved in the game versus the ME1 love interests, I might have to revisit my canon playthrough with Ashley as the love interest instead of my current plan which is to go into ME3 with Miranda.

BioWare wants your feedback again, this time for a prototype figure of Mass Effect 1 squad member and romance option Liara T'Soni.
(She was an NPC in Mass Effect 2 and later the focus of a DLC add-on.)
Japanese toy maker Kotobukiya has interpreted the asari character in a bishoujo way - a Japanese term that refers to young and pretty girls.
Kotobukiya's Liara T'Soni holds a space pistol at thigh level, causing her upper-arms to squeeze her breasts together. She seems pretty happy about it.
"Let us know what you think of Kotobukiya's Bushoujo statue of Liara! Your feedback will help shape this beautiful prototype! Keep an eye out for the pre-order announcement," the blurb on the Mass Effect Facebook page reads.

Why? I don't think one less e-mail would take that much away from Mass Effect 3.
The picture they're basing it off of is slightly less fan-servicey and has less WeirdFace. On the other hand, asari are basically Fan Service: The Race, so that's kind of funny.

the fact that he does in fact turn you down is why he has to turn in his man card and take the nuke on virmire

Something about being at the heart of a nuclear explosion kills a guy's libido.
