yea its $5 for the magazine in store. deadliest warrior is $5 with one of the coupons too, but thats a less notable deal since that game is supposed to be hot garbage heh.
i actually like it a lot, it's similar to the game busido blade. it's a 3D fighter with realistic damage and dismemberment. you can get one hit kills and decapitations.
I don't know about realistic anything but if you get the mag for the other games I'd say pick it up if you can't find Dragon Age II.
i've been re-playing forgotten sands, it's so good. also, i think ezio's skin appears in a record number of games (PoP, MGS4, SCV, . playing this game dressed as him is pretty sweet.
Just a heads up for anyone that buys that Dragon Age pack in order to activate the DLC beyond Awkaening you'll have to register it on Biowar's site as well as download patch 1.05 which will actually make the game recognize that you have authorization. There's also a 1.1 patch for Witch Hunt you'll likely want to download. Love you Origin.
Has anyone bought anything through Greenmangaming that should have had a Steam key, but doesn't?
I bought Darksiders earlier and there is no key either in the e-mail or in my account. The email is all written with instructions on how to redeem it on Steam and everything but where it says Activation Key there's just nothing. Blank.
I sent in a request to their support so hopefully it gets worked out; just curious if its something that is common. EDIT: Or something that gets solved easily.
That's $10 for a 20GB drive, $15 for 60GB, or $22.50 for 120GB. All sold out online, but your local stores likely have plenty of stock. Not a bad deal if you're looking to upgrade your old 360 to a bigger drive.
Bought Dark Void, Kameo, Perfect Dark Zero, Sega Superstars Tennis, and Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands with the live deal I posted earlier.
Bought 1600 points but got a little click-happy and accidentally bought two of the games outright instead of using points. Dammit.
Boy do I feel like a dummy. And hate myself.
Tell me what you think of PDZ's aiming. I gave up on the game today because the Aim Assist would not work for me at all. For the first time, I felt like many PC gamers feel when playing a shooter on console.
It looks like The Witcher 2 on Xbox is going to be the lightning deal thing on Amazon in about 2 hours. Obviously don't know what kind of discount they're going to offer, but I can attest to the game being pretty awesome for those who haven't played it yet.
Everyone has a price. Throw enough gold around and someone will risk disintegration.
also I didn't capitalize the start of my sentence, and even then gamestop is a proper noun which also asks for capitalization. tv in an acronym that's usually capitalized as well. I don't think doing is the correct verb to use in that sentence.

Not trying to attack you personally, it's just calling it a "TV" infers that it has a built-in tuner. I don't want anyone going out and buying the thing expecting to use it as a TV right out of the box.

My understanding is that the 3D is incompatible with nvidia video cards as well.

are there seriously people out there buying these things and expecting to use them for over-the-air broadcasts
i think you're discussing a pretty small minority, there
It will work with any cable box/tuner which anyone who's planning on using it for 3D TV content is going to have anyways. So it WILL work out of the box.
I'm not keen on videocards but you can set this thing to all of the 3D video types just with the press of a button so I'm not sure how it wouldn't work with certain cards.

It's a good point to make, but you got me so I still had to defend my honor.
Anyways, steam's mid-week sale is LA noire. Normal for $5, with all dlc $7.50 total.

That is really, really tempting. I have no idea when I'd get around to playing it, though. That sounds like a really great deal for LA Noire, in any case.

I honestly rarely ever use my TV for Over-air broadcasts, but I would have expected it to be able to do it had I purchased one. So I am kind of glad the point was made, because I've had these in the back of my head as a cheap alternative to a 3D TV.
Edit: to clarify, it never entered my mind that it wouldn't do over-air broadcasts.

Well, I've always said that when I have my own place I'm paying only for an internet connection in regards to entertainment services. Between OTA television, Hulu, and Netflix, I can't imagine ever running out of things to watch.

edit- i guess you mean this sonic sale?

Nah
It has cool presentation and a neat story but the game is purely un-fun
Yes. Yes it is.
Something's broke in UV's brainal region that makes him say weird things. Max Payne 3 is incredibly fun!
Display, not TV.
A Display with no tuner, and nothing below Component, which it only has one set of.

Magic 8-ball says it may be cheaper during the Steam Summer Sale. I'd wait.

I didn't even realize that was released. It was at E3 2010, right? Then it was a no-show at E3 2011...I figured it was vaporware at this point.
