Unable to upload an avatar

Hey, I've been unable to upload *any* image file from my computer to the forum for an avatar, sig, whatever. It keeps telling me that the filetype isn't supported, even though I'm trying to upload jpegs... I've resized them to be 80*80, made sure they're below the size limit, etc. Any insight into this? It's not the end of the world but it does seem a bit strange...

Yeah, this apparently didn't start happening until last night

FortyTwo tried to change his and couldn't

Half an hour later I tried to change mine while looking at the nostalgia thread and couldn't either

I'm having the same issue. I tried both a gif and a jpg version of my avatar, 80 x 80, but I'm just getting a broken image icon.

Broken for me, too. Tried to change it, but it didn't work. Then I tried to use the same picture I had before, and it still didn't work.

A lot of people are having the problem... and they're aware of the issue.

There is a thread for it in the Vanilla Forum Comments and Bugs Section.

Just follow that one. I'd imagine they'll get to it as soon as possible.

Yeah, same thing just happened to me. Balls, should've just stuck with what I had but it was super pixellated.

Mine was from the old version and so it looked terrible and pixelated so I went to upload a higher res version and I ran into this problem.
