Woo Squid. Practice 4gating in PvP 10-15 times in YABOT and fly up to Diamond like I did.
Then suffer in diamond forever because fucking supply bloooocks.
I 4gate against other protoss every game. I figure its that, a 3gate robo, or something cheesier. It's only if both fuck up that a second Nexus miraculously shows up.
In fact my last game there was someone trying some kind of proxy gate against me. I still successfully completed the 4gate and won the game eventually.

I gotta say I really don't like this invite system for Code A. I mean, i get that its a cool exchange program, but it sticks out like a giant middle finger to the Koreans trying to qualify, because it takes potential spots from them. Especially bad is that hardly any of the foreigners invited have done well!!! You could forgive any Korean player desperately trying to qualify (of which there are HUNDREDS) for thinking "fucking scrub western players getting invited over and over and being fucking shit" because so far thats what they've done.
Foreigners who have been invited to Code A and done well:
-HuK
Foreigners who have been invited to Code A and NOT done well:
-Thorzain
-Naniwa
-Moonglade
-Haypro
-SaSe
-Ret
I might have forgotten some.
Anyway. I like what the code a invite program is TRYING to achieve.
But it seems there are a few unavoidable issues with it. i mean, especially with regards to some of the invites in the past. Moonglade? Haypro? Really? they're both fucking terrible compared to nearly every other foreigner, as well as most of the Korean players.
Major kicked from sixjax, management citing breach of contract and endless negative PR.
Insert obligatory "SAW THIS COMING A MILE AWAY" post here so we can collectively get it out of our systems.
Interestingly, Major's response seems to claim that NSHoSeo will accept him as a de-facto team member if he can somehow finance a flight to Korea, and likewise that SJ's failure to foot the bill was the last straw in his decision to quit.

His response is really weird, interesting if he gets picked up by nshoseo though, pretty sure korean teams are even more demanding when it comes to code of conduct.

Sweet. I'd love to see him sit eternally in korea as an unpaid, un-contracted B-teamer that never sees the light of day again.
@TwitchTV, @Youtube: master-level zerg ladder/customs, commentary, and random miscellany.
Oh, I guess SpecialEndrey is the other one I was thinking about. He scares me.
On the Major thing, if you guys were the sponsor of an SC2 team right now, would you send someone to Korea who'd most likely not qualify for code A? (Not saying Major isn't good, just those qualifiers are obscene)
If you pay thousands of dollars to send someone over there and they don't qualify, you get zero exposure for your brand for the next month; there's not enough else going on there outside of the GSL.
He's been thrashing most of NA and taking series off good Europeans for some time now.
Unfortunate attitude problems but seems like the kind of guy who might thrive in Korea.
He's one of the best players in NA, sure. Until his attitude changes, he's undeserving of any success he sees, even if he manages to stow away on a shrimp freighter to korea and wins the GSL.
(And to clarify, BM is fine --- you can take it or leave it. But the SEA tournament fiasco was way over the top, and he should've been exiled by the community for that garbage.)

Alright, I clearly don't follow Major's career, so what happened at this tourney?

Sheth was invited ad won his first round against San before being eliminated by Puzzle. So its hard to say how he'd have done. I could definitely see Select or Naniwa winning multiple sets in Code A, and Sjow and Sase winning one wouldn't be a shock. I think it definitely got off to a rocky start.... Moonglade and Haypro never had much to back up their inclusion. But now that its mostly competition based I think it will go much better.
There does need to be another competition for Koreans though.

Now go for Gold!
And always fun to ladder coming off playing in a tournament.
Those were some pretty awesome games.
Then suffer in diamond forever because fucking supply bloooocks.
As much as some things change...
Moletrap casting with two Koreans on the GOM stream.
Basically just jokes with them in broken Korenglish.
And when banelings are about to explode the three of them shout together at the top of their lungs.

Who writes like that? Really?
And also, he seems kind of mentally-ill. Seriously.
Ah ok, didn't know that. Fair enough then.
Second part: wut
On the edge of ASD or slightly manic-depressive or something like that.

This is actually really exciting, I love his casting.
