So, hold off 6 pool really well, Zerg ahead. Gotta love it.
Although this isn't really perfect protoss play, so eh.
I think, if anything, it illustrates just how far ahead Zergs are when they play a standard game and enter the midgame. I can't remember the last time a Protoss entered the midgame with a lead.

Well, finally got SC2. Though playing from Afghanistan can be a bit tricky, but the internet here is usually good enough on most days.
Have realized one thing, I suck. Wooeee, do I ever. Been years since I even played Starcraft and I think the last RTS I played was WC3. So much to learn, but the guides in the OP have been helpful. Really got to work on my hotkeys and learn some build orders.
May stick to the campaign for awhile, since it actually is pretty awesome.

A Capellan's favorite sheath for any blade is your back.
Now now, the protoss players had that game won if he had just attacked before broodlords came out. And we all know protoss players have no excuses unless they play 100% perfect, unlike the other races.
On a less whiny note, I enjoyed that game. The all infestor all day strategy is beatiful.

I get my AFSC in a few weeks.
Go into options and turn on the hotkey initials beside each unit on the bottom right. This is incredibly useful and I don't know why it's not default. I also use the grid for placing buildings.

And "this game is pretty even" when zerg has a 60 supply lead and complete map control is a pretty hilarious statement. Really weird that yonghwa is letting him have the hidden expo though as he used to have a ling there to scout.
aaaand this is why it's so hard to balance protoss. Sometimes you get a good engagement when colossi are out and you can overcome any supply lead and just destroy the enemy army.
I honestly have no idea how you deal with broodlord/infestor/queen realistically.
I actually think mixing in a Phoenix squad (to disrupt NP) and Void Rays for the Brood Lords helps a lot, but the amount of pressure zerg can apply midgame makes it extremely difficult to get both Stargate tech and Colossus tech without becoming irreparably behind.

7gate +2 blink from JYP, I think.
edit: this is nearly impossible to hold off with just roach ling especially with no carapace upgrades or spines.

Some casters need to get over their boner for forcefields.
Not all forcefields are good. In fact, forcefields that block units from attacking is a fairly basic skill that a Diamond player should be able to execute, let alone someone practising constantly.
JookTo has only ever won 4 series in his entire GSL career, since all the way back to Open Season 1, fyi. He is quite possibly the worst Zerg in the GSL.

he has no significant achievements besides qualifying for all 3 GSL open seasons (which was no mean feat back in the day but is largely irrelevant now), qualifying for Code A once, and beating Anypro in the super tournament (not that great an accomplishment either)

This is a pet peeve of mine, they tend to be far too enthusiastic of forcefields of any kind, even the ones that lose games for the protoss.
The forcefields in the final engagement of the first game were amazing though.

So code A actually has protoss in it, this might be fun.

And too bad, shiningstar would have straight up won if he attacked before broodlords.
He said it AGAIN, AS THE COLOSSI WERE FUNGALED.

And tossing out infested terrans below broodlords to counter void rays is brilliant.

Also both of you put on some god damn avatars. Running around naked like savages. Shameless.
And I cannot decide. A crying probe photoshop would be the most glorious thing. But I can't photoshop.
anyone care to tell me a quick summary of the MC games?

And I'm a shit player. Like, fucking terrible. It's basically just the way we make up for our expensive arse units.
