Free Task Manager software?

Over the years I have come up with lots of crazy projects I have never completed. I was wondering if there was a task manager program that I can use (Free would be nice) to keep track of everything? I'm looking for something a little better than s spreadsheet. I don't need it to be crazy-complected, just enough where I can divide my projects into types, last worked on, percentage done, and maybe even a calender, but that part isn't important.
