Hi, guys. I'm being tasked with putting together some guides for challenges or just particularly difficult areas in games on the PC. Unfortunately, the only machine we have available is somewhat old (not terrible, but definitely a casual machine). Therefore, FRAPSing on newer games is a tad on the difficult side, as things can get choppy (for reference, I can manage to record Portal 2 on this thing from about 30-40 FPS if I mess with the settings a bit).
That said, are there any relatively recent games for the PC which don't require too beasty of a 'puter? Anything a bit older that perhaps has new content, or even newer fan-made content that I could provide some guides for would also work. Indie games are totally a possibility, as well, as long as they provide some places for me to show a walkthrough of some kind. Thanks!
There are literally dozens of recent indie games, especially as you start to stretch "recent." The latest Humble Indie Bundle, Bastion, Space Pirates and Zombies, Seriously Sam Double D (kind of not indie I guess), Limbo, Frozen Synapse, Super Meat Boy, Jamestown, etc.
Check out Touhou Densetsu II (Castlevania clone) on hard difficulty, as well as the extra stage (Phantasm) after clearing the main game. Bonus points for not using sub-weapons. Make sure to patch it up, there's also a kinda rough official English patch available for it.

Any other suggestions would be adored.
I also have a blog!
Here's a video of the game in action.
Also look into Mega Mari (Mega Man clone, kinda like a mix of 2 and 4).
