Help! I need software for my scanner!

I've bought a Canon Pixma MP272 all in one printer / scanner recently, and somehow I have lost the CD with the scanning software on it. The canon website doesn't seem to have any software for it available - just a 'my printer' troubleshooting and diagnostics program.

Is there any free scanning software available out there? (I'm on windows 7)

Your want the MP Navigator software (available here, for example). Alternatively, if it's a WIA scanner (dunno if it is) Paint.NET should work fine. Same deal with Irfanview.

    Click the following:
    Start
    All Programs
    Accessories
    Paint

Click the blue (file) menu at the top left of screen and choose From Scanner.

    Follow on screen instructions.

Cheers both. Never knew you could scan from paint!
