Haven't people gotten banned for buying things from other regions using VPN? I've read that a lot, but it's all second-hand reports. Personally, I'd not want to risk my library that way. Be cautious, folks.
I spent a lot of time with Atom Zombie Smasher over the last three days. That's a fantastic little game. I think I obtained it many months ago as part of some indie games pack on Steam (definitely not the last Humble Indie Bundle, though). My first playthrough ended in failure; the second one went much better since I knew how things worked. Then I started a third playthrough last night, extending the points limit to 20000. I kept playing until I had conquered every damn territory and felt pretty satisfied with myself.
I loved this game, but one of the updates absolutely killed it for me. It went from running buttery smooth to getting single-digit fps on the main menu. It never got fixed.

Did you remove ATIGTKXX.dll ? Happened to me a couple times and removing it fixed it for me.
The Razor pads have arrived by surprise (for me) to stores near were I live and I am considering getting one. My only doubt is related to the Dpad . I wonder if it's an improvement over the original x360 controller Dpad.
Psiberian (or anyone who has tried it), could you tell me how it feels? Do you think it 's good Dpad to control games like, for example, Super Meat Boy ?
i suppose it depends on your personal definition of better. each direction on the Dpad is an individual button instead of a weird single omnidirectional rocker button thing. The way it is built you can still smoothly pull off a hadouken because the angle of the buttons for lack of a better term seems rounded in a way that makes moving between buttons smooth.
I think it is pretty much the bees knees, and I prefer it to my actual xbox360 controllers. but YMMV.
*Grumble grumble* Sengoku is out today and Paradox's homepage says its available on all major digital download portals. But Steam isn't there! You don't get to say all the major ones when you have friggin Impulse on there and not Steam
There's always been talk about people being banned for stuff like this. But yeah, I wouldn't risk it for a few cheap games.
I've bought several games in my library that were codes from other countries, including one that was RSN when i plugged it in. It is still there in my game list, no problems no bannings, no removal of my game. I've had it for several months now too. Maybe it is because I am in Canada though, and the laws here are different when it comes to these things? I don't know.

They seem to take their sweet time to release on Steam, not just with Sengoku.
I'll personally wait until it's on Steam, with a good discount for good measure.

Thanks Psiberian. The configuration of the Razor's Dpad is a bit peculiar and you have helped me with my main doubt about how it feels.
Stoked about the Sanctum update. It is a great game.
I was totally unaware of this, looking at the beta thread on the forums; does anyone know what the new "equipment system" is? Or any of the other changes for that matter?

The funny thing is, back during the summer sale it was actually showing up as a pre-release on people's lists who got the complete Paradox pack until they realized that was an oopsie and yanked it.

Looks like the equipment system will be a system where you have to choose what to bring into battles. Like you have 3 weapon slots, but after the patch there will be 4 so you'll have to leave 1 behind. Same with towers (not sure the amount of tower slots). Oughta make planning out MP games a bit more fun so you have access to most of the towers still.

Holy Crap! Seemed to work like a charm. Now to see if I can get my copy going on Steam. The issue started before the game went on Steam, so I never even bothered with it.

Nope but I don't think it's in the beta yet. I thought I read a note saying it will be in once it goes live. Ought to be cool imo. I may give this a whirl tonight.

Hmm...I'll just have to wait and see how that goes. I'm not sure what would even work for a 4th weapon; but the idea of limiting tower types doesn't make sense as you're already limited based on the map, and there aren't enough tower types to even bother limiting you. So yah, guess I'll wait and see.
Still, either way, cool they're still working on it and adding more. I enjoyed Sanctum probably a lot more than I should have and look forward to having a reason to load it up again. Though I never did play it multiplayer.
I swear, 3 days ago I was looking at a couple of Magic dlc giveaways on steamgifts going "Hmm, I liked the first one." Looked at the price and decided to wait.

They have a DLC Shotgun as the 4th, and I'm figuring they will add more. As for the Towers, there are 2 new DLC Towers as well. And I want to say you can only bring 5 towers now, because as I played around with it a little bit today I was thinking 'damn I used to have that one and that one, now I gotta leave one of them behind!'.

So it seems the white beginner deck in the Magic game pretty much rolls over all the other decks effortlessly. Everything is cheap, it has great combos and even a decent amount of removels. I don't even know why they want me to unlock the other decks!
Thinking of snagging Dangerous High School Girls in Trouble. I know as soon as I do a daily deal will hit for something I really want and won't be able to afford, but I don't think I can live with not having something with a title as awesome as Dangerous High School Girls in Trouble in my library.

Seriously, You gotta play it multiplayer, it's so much more epic. hit me up on steam, I'm game for whenever (read: PST after 10pm, got a 8 month old). I do however have a bad hankering for Dead Island currently. But I can definetly break away so I don't burn out on it.
It is worth it alone for the Steven Hawking Text to speech it does when you type. Prepare for stomach hurt from laughing your first couple minutes.
Also, I would assume you and your "squad" could manage who's bringing what tower (at least I hope).
Lets hope that this optimization bit will make the game playable for me.
Dead Island? If so, then there is a mod tool called Dead Island Helper that lets you disable effects like motion blur, bloom, etc. That might improve performance for you.

I'm going to second the Razer Onza. I like it vastly more than the standard Xbox controller in pretty much every way. While the basic shape is similar to the standard controller, there are some sharp edges that may or may not bother you depending on how you hold the controller. Possibly the best part of the Onza are the face buttons that are mechanical switches instead of dome buttons on the standard controller.
You'll need to use the controller to decide whether or not you like the dpad. I find it a bit on the stiff and clacky side, but it works great for games where it's primary use it for weapon or item selection/switching. To me, someone who doesn't play fighting games, it doens't bother me but if I did the Onza would not be my go to controller for those kinds of games.

So I'm sitting here. Torn. I just can't decide if I want to buy Limbo or Rock of Ages, or wait to get either of them on sale. I can't make up my mind on Rock of Ages, especially, as tower defense games are fun but I usually suck at them. Then again I adore Marble Madness... but this isn't a puzzle game so much.

Rock of Ages is not a tower defense game. It is a bizarre little gem that is incredibly hard to place into a genre shaped box. I will say this though. If you want to laugh your goose bottom off then it is one of the best games you could buy for that.

Just happened to me on my iPod.
I'm not allowed to see a page for a game I already own. Guess it has to protect me from myself, or something.

Steam Support is the worst. Seriously, the worst

Only 360 buyers get the Grave Titan. Inferno Titan and Ice Titan pale in comparison.

It's fun! It's nice to see a game where the women aren't continual sex objects.
