Got level 3 Silverback in horde but didn't get enough cash to try it out before I decided to take a break. Not sure if I'll get the motivation to farm out the additional million, given that I'm lucky if I can get 50k in a single go. (Usually closer to 30-40k)
I just want to go back to playing horde for fun and not feeling obligated to save/put all my money into the Silverback. At this rate I'll probably just quit playing Horde altogether instead.
Played some of the DLC-maps on Versus today. Blood Drive was chaotic, which I liked, and Rustlung wasn't bad, but it could do with something besides grenades and a scorcher/mulcher.

I'm halfway between 2 and 3 with everything else fully upgraded / unlocked.
After that I'll just buy whatever and play for fun - the extra levels for Silverback only make it cheaper to repair, right?

I played the new playlist last night, usually I absolutely hate sniper-based playlists, but for some reason had some decent fun, weird.
So hit level 91just now , going to focus on gears so I can catch the last bit of xp boosts. If you havent tried the HB post buffs I recommend you do so , that thing is lethal now.

This is because you never invite me to play with you . Everything is better with me , its been proven scientifically.
edit- Also I want to grind out some horde medals so do please invite me guys. Seems no one is ever playing anymore when im on.
The Hammerburst getting more clips is a nice bonus. I didn't exactly run out often, but it does help nonetheless.
Speaking of Horde, I'm at the half-way mark for Onyxing Big Money. After I get that, though, I still need Architect. 150 games of Horde just for Gold.
If you see me online and need people invite me. I still have almost all the horde medals at bronze or silver , I just dont like playing it alone or in pugs.
Playing with Pubs: A challenge for headshots? Nah, I'll just shoot everything with a complete disregard for completing the objective. Who cares about money?
Another day another level , im going to fucking miss 2xp. Not that it matters the game is dead. Gears survived because it was different , all that making the game easier did was make it more of the same . All the cod kids went back to cod as soon as it was released leaving everyone else with empty matchmaking. I can barely find a decent execution game nowadays. Its a crying shame.

I have noticed a distinct lack of players as well, although I pretty much exclusively play ranked warzone so I though it was a symptom of the playlist rather than the game. I'll have to check out the other game modes and see.
On one hand it does suck that sometimes there aren't that many people on (I've seen as low as 100 at around 18:00 EST), but on the other hand it is cool to see the same names and identify patterns in the individual's play. Then again there is no escaping the premades with this few people.

Basically it makes every game you play count towards the war supporter medal . So you just go afk in the private matches and farm the onyx medal over and over again for 30k xp . But like I found out it destroyed my stats. Im down to 1.6 k/d and a 1.1 w/l now. They used to be much higher especially the w/l
If anyone is looking for a teammates feel free to send me an invite. However I'd suggest you just Lmk it is a pa person somehow first because I just ignore the random invites that I get. Seems like a lot of people accidentally hit Y after a game. I'll play whatever game mode, I just prefer warzone.

Lots and lots of Versus. Most games last 4-8 minutes and net you some good experience. 10 waves of Horde on the other hand only gets you 3-5k over 13+ minutes per 10 mins, depending on how many players you have and how well you do.
Title Update 2 is due out tomorrow and hot damn does it have some nice fixes, including what looks like a fix for the profile corruption issue with splitscreen (I'm assuming)
Hey Gears fans! At 2 a.m. Pacific tonight we’ll begin rolling out Title Update 2 for Gears of War 3. While this is in progress dedicated servers will not be available. Once the update is live you will automatically be prompted to download it if you are connected to Xbox LIVE.

Improvements
A spectator mode option has been added to private versus matches for broadcasting by gaming leagues.
One player on each team will be able to choose spectator mode during match set up.
The matches will be 4v4 with two spectators The Leader and Vengeful medals are now easier to acquire. The mutators Roadie Comet and Regen Enemies are now easier to acquire.
Added an option to disable the HUD during multiplayer games for machinima and video creators
Added a visual indicator of the next ring’s location during the last 10 ring points in KOTH.
Exploit Fixes
The Onyx Field Engineer medal can no longer be prestiged. In Capture the Leader, the overhead Beams on DryDock are no longer accessible.
While affected by the Smoke Grenade stun, players will no longer be able to take hostages, pick up weapons or revive teammates.
General Fixes
If there is a host migration during Horde, the match will resume at the same wave. Also during Horde, the Combat Engineer ribbon can now be achieved once per wave instead of once per game.
The Ranked Disconnect stat will no longer increase when quitting a standard Horde or Beast game.
The cringe from the Mortar will no longer cause players to drop their primary weapon.
The Hail Mary ribbon is now correctly awarded for long distance Boomshot headshots. Maps will no longer be immediately repeated when choosing random map selection.
If the host pauses during a private versus match the game will continue for other players.
The game will still pause in the Campaign, Beast and Horde. Potential fix for the rare lost progress issue.
Potential fix for the rare profile freezing issue.

Combined with Hail Mary working better and Combat Engineer being gettable every round, it should make getting mutators a LOT easier. Aside from the "play shittons of Horde and Beast" ones.

It wasn't an exploit so much as a way to make it SUPER hard to capture the leader, as you can't carry a leader off the beam (due to chest high walls on either side) and so you have to hold the leader there, which leaves you SUPER exposed.
