When you play as RAAM, the other 3 players play as Elite Maulers with reflective shields, and a Elite Theron with a sawed-off with blades like the retro.
Also, Rod confirmed that each DLC will have 250 points, so Gears3 will have 2000 gamerscore once the season pass is complete.
Media/Info dump about the Booster Pack and the Impossible Mission due out tomorrow on Major Nelson. This weeks event will be KotH related and may feature Retro-Lancers and Gorgon Pistols.

Why didn't they just reveal it yesterday lol. Its not like these two days will create more anticipation. Also hatemail makes me sad. I mean one of them legitimately kicked my ass and made me quit. Turns out I was the host and the servers were down but the other two were just punks that got owned. One complained about me shooting him in the back the other how I was abusing actives and was trash.
IMO, there's probably a video or something to accompany this announcement and someone noticed an issue with the vid, which was planned to be ready today, at the last minute and they realized they couldn't fix it in time. Shit happens.
Oh if it was technical difficulty I understand completely , I just didn't get that impression. Also looking at the calendar the impossible mission is one month long so it looks like it will be a real pain in the ass to get.
It's not like you can't play regular KotH, which is what happens whenever they do a Horde event. Tried to play with my friends once but it was a Ticker event and as a result they now think that's all Horde is.

Gears2 is a long string of "holy shit" moments. The combat is a lot more linear than in Gears1, but honestly I didn't notice that the first 5 times I beat the game
So are you supposed to get the event ribbon even if you didn't play the event, just during that time frame? I forgot about blades and nades, hopped into a "normal" (execution) game and after completion got it.
All this stuff makes me want to buy the season pass. I wish you could buy it all on disc!

Really, the only thing Season Pass users have gotten so far is 3 weapon skins, 3 multiplayer skins, some new horde fotifications and 3 maps available only in private matches, Beast and Horde. Once we find out about DLC's 3 and 4, it'll probably be a good buy. As of now though, it's not really something you should be leaping on unless you unquestionably love Gears of War 3, IMO.

Well what are you trying to do with the name? Have you tried Nuclear fallout? Or if you are a fan of the games maybe you could pick something synonymous with fallout. Like Vault dweller or something.
YES! I reached 100! Cool and easy way to grind XP is to go to chapter 2-2 arcade , pick insane and with three hard mutators for max xp. Now play through the level getting as high a score as you can. Now when you finish the level it will give you your score and then a cut scene starts , pause and restart at last checkpoint . You will start at the end of the level and you can cross it again for the same exact score! This makes grinding the arcade points medal easy and it repeats so you will keep getting big xp.

I just wanted to get level 100 out of the way so that I could play as much or as little as I want without thinking " Is this the most efficient way for me to level?" It got real bad as soon as I hit 90 and I wanted to just get to 100. Now I can play versus without thinking about gaining levels or anything.
