One of my toenails is growing in a weird way.

Specifically, the pinky toe on my left foot.

Instead of growing normally like the other nails, it seems like the nail juts out almost ninety degrees upwards and grows in that direction. At first I thought the nail had just broken or bent in a weird way, but after further investigation I can see that that's just the way it's growing.

Is this normal? Should I see a foot person or is this relatively common? Just want to play it safe.

I hate you and you hate me.

That happens to me too, except it's more of a 45 degree angle...I've never been too worried about it, my feet always look strange to me anyways. No idea if it's "normal" though. It doesn't seem to have affected me in any adverse way...

both my pinky toenails angle up at around a 45 degree angle too.

So +1 to 'not that strange I guess.'

    Happens to me too.

I even search the net once I wondered about it and it appears it's quite common. I couldn't find the pages I read that time, but I found this: http://www.healthboards.com/boards/showthread.php?t=166063
