Yeah no luck. I have an s3 but I've tried 3 different browsers with no luck.
Libraries have computers. For free.
And they're closed at night when I'm free.
Thanks, Obama.
Psst I'm British
I had some issues ejecting the Uncharted3 disc. Took some finangling but eventually got it out of there and popped in Kingdom of Amalur. Only played the demo but that was a blast andi know loads of people really enjoyed it. Figured I'd pay that on the ps 3 whilst running through the first three metal gear Solid games. By the time I'm done with those three, I should also have finished Kingdom of Amalur and I can then get started on MGS 4 and lastly Revengeance.
Alternatively, I'll just shove whatever in whenever the mood takes me.
I figured you were European from your posting time. I really enjoyed MGS1 but MGS2's story was really lackluster and I got pretty bored with the gameplay maybe halfway through. MGS2 also seemed to take itself a bit more seriously than MGS1, to its detriment. Half the fun of MGS1 was its campiness.
I enjoyed 2 but definitely agree with you on 1 being more memorable and fun. 3 I've only barely tried. Maybe an hour, if that. I've only ever finished 1 and 2 though. Even 4 was left unfinished (5 hours played before I had to give it back).

Isy, MGS3 is one of the best games I've ever played. I really liked MGS1, didn't like MGS2 very much, but 3 is fucking amazing. You should definitely play it all the way.
Please be in Europe! I realize I'm probably the singular person on Earth excited about MC2, but it's probably my favorite racing game ever.
Also, Sony, if you could release MLB The Show 13 in Europe today as well, that'd be great.
...
They read this stuff, right?
Both are already on the PAL stores, alongside this weeks PS+ offerings.
Sly: Thieves in Time's now available for pre-order and is crazy cheap in the UK and Europe. I'm not so lucky, as they've pulled some bullshit and priced it at NZ$60 here, even though the UK price should convert to NZ$40. That kind of pathetic bullshit is enough to put me off buying the game entirely, so thanks Sony.

hilarious playing through one again. Forgotten how to choke enemies so instead I keep throwing them around.
Just seen the new stuff in the EU store. Kingdom of Amalur on sale. The day after I bought it retail. Thankfully I got it cheaper even if it was only a mere £1. Silver linings and all that. Mass effect can't be downloaded due to s lack of memory space so I'll have to get rid of something tomorrow, when I get back from work. Can't find the vita freebie though weirdly. It was Assassin's Creed right? Because I already have it and I'm not too concerned.

How much for Kingdom of Amalur? That's been on my El Cheapo Watchlist for a long time.

MLB The Show 13 is downloading.
It's downloading two separate 10 gig files, so technically it might end up being faster if I bought it from Canada and had it shipped here, but it's downloading.
In addition to all this there's a sale on God of War stuff.
Apart from that no real surprises.

Especially since they sorta fixed the problem in not allowing content sharing anymore. And it's a single player game. And for some reason the disc doesn't do this.
You can content share, it's just limited to 2 systems rather than 5. Tomb Raider has multi.
man your gladius just reminded me of Gradius V and now i want a rerelease of that pretty bad. what an incredible game. im sure nowhere near enough people would buy an HD version to make it worthwhile, but a man can dream.
I read gladius as Gradius too. When I first purchased a SNES I got Super Mario World and Gradius 3. I played the SHIT out of gradius. Man. The game got so hard the better you got at it. I loved that game.
CorriganX on Steam and just about everywhere else.
Speaking of PS2 Classics, I've been wondering for a while if you can use the same save file you made from a physical PS2 game played on your PS3, and use that file for the PSN digital version of the same game.
I've been thinking about going digital on some PS2 games I already own, both for convenience and maybe the hope that you can still play them on the PS4 (PS3 games seem a no go, but PS1/PS2 digital titles should conceivably work, right).

That's actually a good question. Do PS3s without hardware BC still have the ability to make those virtual memory cards, or do they handle saves differently? As long as they both use virtual memory cards, there shouldn't be any problems.
I don't see any reason why the PS2 card reader wouldn't work on the non-BC PS3s? So you could probably just run through your original card if you had to. (Assuming the card reader is still for sale.)

You can't. They save separately, in the "Saved Data Utility (PS2)" folder.

Yeah, double-checked with the one PS2 classic game I own.
It's a real bummer, and has me foolishly pondering what I should do to "future proof" my saves for games like Persona 3 (which I still haven't beaten). Ironically, that problem would be solved if I got Persona 3 Portable, but the visual downgrades in that version put me off from making that my definitive P3 experience. This could be solved easily if they just made a Vita version...
In any case, my Playstation card arrived and has been activated. Supposedly any minimum purchase made on the PS Store, no matter how small, will make me eligible to receive a $50 PSN code. I'm thinking of using that toward Ni No Kuni.

That is exactly what I did. I bought some <$10 game on steam and it got me a free ni no kuni
Also you should get the year of playstation plus subscription, if it's the same card I got.
Note that they say they will send you an email telling you how to claim these things, but in my case, they didn't.
Instead you go into the sony rewards site and add the $50 PSN code and the year of PS+ to your cart, at which point they magically get zero'ed out to no cost.
I don't think there's an active one at the moment. If you can't find one easily then it probably means there isn't one, so you're most likely clear to make one.
And since I'm posting something, might as well share The Drop for this week.

Kessen II – Become a Chinese general and conquer the world in Kessen II from Koei. Players plan out strategies, then watch as armies carry out their orders in real time. The tale of two warring Chinese generals, Liu Bei and Cao Cao, sets the stage for war in a scenario similar to the background of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms saga that is absolutely stupid. Magic will play a part in the action: lightning, tornados, and earthquakes can all be summoned to wreak havoc among enemy troops.

So, there's some stuff. Nothing really jumps out except Darkstalkers: Resurrection which is Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge and Darkstalkers 3 in the same package, apparently, with a shiny HD touch-up job. (As in, just sort of HD filtered) Also a bunch of other little extras.
Also I may have abused my power a little and editorialized one of the blurbs. It's for everyone's sake.
Hey do we have a God of War thread? There's a new game coming out in 2 days and I haven't seen one.
I'd gladly put one together if we don't. I've gone back 10 pages and done what limited searching I could and was not able to locate one.
Nope. The last GoW thread we had was for 3. I would've come up with a very quick one for Ascension if no-one else had by the time it launched but you can go ahead now.

Wow, really? I was under the impression it had to be PSN-related purchase, or something from the Sony Rewards website.
In any event, I used it to purchase Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 with the PS+ price (got my physical copy up on eBay. Hopefully my 32GB card order won't get cancelled so I can stick to full digital). Do you recall how long it took you to receive the $50 code?
